I would of Personally put Cabrera as a Starter and Moreneau the Reserve (not trying to be homer)
But Cabrera is just tearing it up.. believe he is in contention for triple crown?
And Yadier Molina is really only great for defense. but i would take any catcher over him for an everyday starter
And for my last thing bout the all star teams is: Albert and Howard are about even... except the Average for both of them.. But both will hit around 45 HRs by the season is over.. and Howard avg is going up
So i could not pick a 1st basemen to be Named Start until the All Star...
The problem with All-Stars is that the fans vote who they want to see most, not necessarily who had the best first half, and usually, managers don't get that right either (i.e. Infante > Votto / Carmona > Choo / Thornton > Rios / Valverde > Hernandez / Andrus > Boesch )

well dont gforget they also have the unwritten rule of having one player from every team....It is nice to see Marlon Byrd get an All Star nod though....He and Marmol have been the only consistant players for the Cubs all year

Well I for one am glad that Nick Swisher made the team, he's been good this year and always a key part to the Yankees. Joey Votto should be able to get on the team. He has 22 homers which is simply outstanding for this part of the year. Maybe Charlie Manuel can put him on the team like Tony La Russa did for Albert Pujous a few years back.
