Well for the Last time (in cup or nationwide) the #3 made famous by Dale Earnhardt SR was on track Friday night in Daytona with Sun Dale JR Behind the Wheel. As most of you know Daytona is where SR lost his life on the last lap of the 500 on Febuary 15th, 2001. Dale JR ran it in a few Nationwide (Then Busch) series races after his fathers tragic death. He clmbed back in that Famous 3 Tonight and did what was most fitting for that car to finsih. With a win at daytona where Sr lost his life and won a total of 34 Races at the track.
As a JR fan it was great to see and I'm hoping maybe he can carry some of that into tomrrow night and rest of the season and make the Chase and win a few races
