I'll start it off by saying i think the better team won. I picked Spain from day one. Now that kick that Xabi Alonso took should have been a red card. It was a dirty play and could come close to the Head butt in the last world cup final

Definitely deserves it. He hit some of the prettiest shots of the tournament and really led this whole Uruguay team Silver Ball (Runner up) = Wesley Sneijder - Netherlands
A bit surprising. He had some really lucky goals, but no doubt he was the heart and soul of this Netherlands team.
Bronze Ball (3rd place) = David Villa - Spain
The absolute heart and soul of Spain. They wouldn't have even made it out of the first round without him. Only 1 assist and limited defense hurt him in winning anything higher.
Golden Boot (Best Offensive Player) = Thomas Muller - Germany
Leader in goals and assists.
Golden Glove (Best Goalkeeper) = Iker Casillas - Spain
An absolute monster defending the goal, and had the three best saves in this Cup: Blocked a penalty kick against Paraguay. Saved two one-on-one chances by the Netherlands.
Best Young Player = Thomas Muller - Germany
This kid is only 20 and he put up Pele` numbers. Fair Play Award = Spain
In a very dirty World Cup, Spain steals this award. Most Entertaining Team = Germany
Germany notched more goals than any other country this World Cup, scoring only 2 less goals than Spain and Netherlands combined. Out of their 18 goals, 12 of them came off 4-0, 4-1, and 4-0 routs of Australia, England, and Argentina respectively.
