I thinks its going to be Vikings and Colts. I think the Vikings are going to win it all.
Not for nothing, but maybe you shouldn't be picking Super Bowl winners. You're already 0 for 2.
Even if you are right, and the Vikings do win it all, which I don't think will happen, I'm revoking your bragging rights because of those two losses.
As for my picks, I know the Jets impressed alot of people with their victory over the Chargers, but the Colts are a different breed of animal. I know the Colts were dead last in the run, but they also had 16 touchdowns on the ground, which was tied for 12th, so that tells me they can run the ball when they need to.
Also one thing with the Chargers if you can shut down their two primary recievers (i.e. Vincent Jackson, and Antonio Gates) you can effictively ground their passing game, which the Jets did in the second half. How many times have we seen Reggie Wayne not have a great game, and yet Peyton Manning still finds a way to get over 300 yards, and lead the Colts to a win?
I don't think New York can go into Indy and win this game. I think the ground and pound the Jets have can work against most teams, but not against a team like Indy who can move the ball like that. And the Colts are not a team that's going to be held to under three TD's.
As for the NFC game, I know the Superdome is going to be rocking like never before.
If the Saints play to the best of their ability, they're unbeatable, and if there was ever a game where they will play to the best to their ability it's this one.
If the Saints do in fact come out like I think they're going to, it doesen't matter what the Vikings gameplan is. The Vikings have no shot.
The only way I see the Vikings winning is if they copy what the Cowboys did in week 15, which is getting pressure on Drew Brees, and stopping that running game before it even gets going, because you're not stopping Drew Bress from getting his 250+ yards. Just hope you can slow him down enough before he gets to 350. You're only hope is making sure the Saints can't run the ball as well, because if they can do that as well, it's over.
If any team can stop a running attack, it is the Minnesota Vikings.
The weird thing is looking at the Saints the teams they struggled against, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Washington, Dallas, they really seem to be big zone defenses, especially Atlanta, but Minnesota doesen't play that way, so I don't think they are going to have the gameplan to shut down New Orleans offense.
To make it short, Colts and Saints in the Super Bowl

What do you mean 0 for 2? I picked the divisional round winners, and I got 3 out of 4 correct. What bragging rights are you talking about? Did you smoke some pot before coming on to post?
You picked the Packers to win the Super Bowl, and after they lost you picked the Cowboys.
You switched your pick later in the week to say the Vikings would beat them, but you did say the Cowboys would win the Super Bowl after the Packers lost.
Just saying your not doing too good when it comes to picking the Super Bowl winner.
