Lyoto Machida defeats Shogun Rua by controversial unamious decision to retain the light heavyweight title. All 3 judges scored the fight 48-47 for Machida. All the media, fans, and even UFC president thought that Shogun had won the fight. There will be an immediate rematch between these two. I honestly thought that Shogun won the fight as he busted up Machida's body with leg kicks and body shots.
Cain Velazquez solidified his spot as the #1 contender by dominating Ben Rothwell stopping him in the 2nd round. Cain will probably fight the winner of the Lesnar/Carwin fight.
