According to his latest blog Quinton Rampage Jackson is calling it quits in the world of MMA to pursue an acting career. This is a major shock as nobody saw this coming. He and UFC president Dana White have been in a verbal war since Rampage decided to postpone his fight with Rashad Evans to portray BA Baracus in the new A-Team movie. Rampage was definitely a fan favorite and will be missed in the Octagon.
I dont blame Rampage for leaving...Dana thinks everyone needs UFC when it is really still just a niche sport. I read Rampage's blog and he has every right to walk away after what Dana did

Historically boxing, and I guess now MMA have always been run by sleezy promoters looking to make a quick buck off of talented but dumb fighters who can't see when they're getting screwed.
Jackson has to come back eventually, because quite frankly what the hell else is he going to do?
If nothing else he'll come back solely for the money. Guys like that always live on the edge, hence why most fighters go broke nearly the second they step outside the ring.
