Alright, so I was surfing the web and came across a forum that had a pretty unique game going on.
Basically, the game was, there are 10 people representing an NFL team.
Every single NFL player is dropped into a player pool.
There is a snake draft in which the managers each attempt to build the best possible football team by drafting from a pool of all current NFL players.
And it is capped with simmed Madden season with a roster edited to match the drafted teams.
It is NOT a fantasy football draft, picking so-and-so because he'll get a lot of goal line touches next season is not the intent of the draft.
Rather, you are attempting to build a team that you can argue for as better than every other team in the draft based on the individual skills of the players you select and how well their talents would complement those of the the rest of your team.
There are 52 rounds because you draft 52 players for your team.
The managers were allowed to make trades with picks/players drafted to get a higher pick in the draft.
I thought this was kind of cool and maybe if you guys do too, we could imitate this or modify it to set our needs.

Right on these forums, granted we make a sub-forum for it. I will post a draft board and edit it so everyone knows the picks made.
Who will do the Madden stuff?
I will set each roster just like the team, sim each game, and report game highlights and news right to you guys on these forums.
What if I can't make my pick?
Don't worry, you have plenty of time, you don't have to pick right at the second when you are on the clock. However to speed the game up, if you do not pick for a long time, (a few days) your pick will be skipped and the draft will go on, but you may pick at any time after that. You can also refer to another member by text and they can post it for you.
