Well the Yao Ming era might be over. The broken foot he encounterd in the Playoffs could keep him from playing all of next season and end his carrer. Foot injurys are big problems for guys who are that big. I mean you look at other guys who have been over 7 foot a good amount of them ahve had foot problems. how does this effect the Rokcets next season

It's rare and a shame when you see great players like this suffer these types of injuries while they are still at the top of their game.

He's the greatest international ambassador the game of basketball has ever seen., and I really hope this isn't the end for him.

Yao Ming is such a great player for his size, but what is holding him back is his foot problems , he could go down as the greatest player ever to play seven years in the league. He can't be out because for the reason that he is a global basketball icon. You think of basketball you think of Yao Ming, Lebron James, and Kobe Bryant.

I think its going to be real interesting to see what the Rockets do to find someone to replace yao considering he is out for atleast the next year. I just really hope he dosn't try and rush back and get hurt even more. I've seen him play in person before. He's massive and not to mention a very nice guy who is great at this game
