It's being projected as a very weak draft this year.
Blake Griffin is being projected as the number one overall pick, but there are some years where he wouldn't even be rated in the top 5.
I think he could be a very solid player in the NBA, may even be good enough to make a few all-star teams in his career, but I don't think were looking at one of the 50 greatest players of all-time here.
There's a few good guards in the draft, Brandon Jennings, Jonny Flynn, Ricky Rubio, and my experience has been that it's much tougher to project the type of,as opposed to a power forward or center, but there aren't too many people coming out of this draft who I would regard as must haves if I were a GM.
Your right Pmoe nothing special here with Blake Griffin here Ricky Rubio could some stuff in the next level. My sleeper of the draft is Josh Heyfelt, this guy is projected to go in the second round of the draft. He went to Gonzaga and had a prosperous college career, he could be a very solid player for many years in the NBA. He's got height and strenght and has a nice jump hook, he is pretty good on defense could be quicker but great at blocking shots.

I'll prolly watch some of the draft. I usually watch it but the MMagic don't have a pick so i'll just be looking at the free agents and seeing if somehow they trade for a draft pick. I mean the talent is lacking this year yes but maybe there will be someone who comes out fo the draft and turns out to be a great talent.

I stopped watching the NBS draft around 2002 somehwere....I had no intrest in any of the players because i didnt know who they were anymore. I might tune in since Griffin went to Oklahoma and thats my fav. college team but the Lakers dont pick till the end so thats a couple hours to kill in the middle.

Its hard for me to watch drafts alot of the time. I mean i can watch the first few rounds of the NFL Draft cause i've heard of most of those guys. I think i watch and follow enough basketball to know most of the guys in the NBA draft and will prolly just have the draft tracker up

I only know (seen them play) about 8 guys in the draft: Blake Griffin, Hasheem Thabeet, James Harden, Jonny Flynn, Tyler Hansborough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington, Gerald Henderson
