So I was just wondering what do you guy's think is better NBA Live or NBA 2K personally I like NBA live better because I'm a lot better online than in NBA 2K, in NBA Live it's easier to play lock down defender in NBA 2K its nearly impossible to play Lockdown defender. NBA Live also is more realistic, I can't tell you how much in NBA 2K where you have two guys on like Lebron and he hits a fade away three pointer with two guys on him. IN NBA LIve they either gets blocked or hits rim and then backboard.

I think Live has improved in recent years. The DNA thing they have this year shows some promise, but they still can't hold a candle to what 2K is putting out in my mind.
The last good NBA Live game was the one with Jason Kidd on the cover, which I think was back in either '02 or '03.
2K has put out a solid game every year since the Dreamcast days. i don't ever really recall a 2K basketball game really being bad.
As for the LeBron issue you can adjust the sliders in the game to fix that.
My hope is that EA doesn't buy out Take Two.
It's never a good thing to have a monopoly on a game market.
I think 2K is a far better game, but if people want to go out and buy NBA Live, I'm not going to stop them.
I think EA has held back with the development of Madden over the years because of that reason.
They put out a game just good enough to keep consumers happy. They go no step beyond what they have to do, in order to keep their core market happy.
Well I think the best game ever was NFL 2K5 but you never see them come out with football games anymore. NBA Live 03 was the first game I ever got and I loved it thats what got me hooked on NBA Live.

2K doesen't come out with an NFL game anymore because they can't.
EA owns the exclusive rights to publish any football game using the NFL's image.
I really think it's held back the development of Madden.
It's impossible to say how much Madden would have improved over the years if it had competition, but I'm a firm believer in the theory of "you run faster when someone's chasing you."
Yah you do pmoe and that is a shame because 2K sports makes incredible basketball games and they make incredible college basketball games. 2Kgames were really good when they were partenered with ESPN, and then ESPN moved to EA sports.

This years game was pretty good but the thing that I liked about Live better was the DNA which had the hot spots and cold spots and how the player did the night before that's the thing for me that seperated the games this year.

I love the Ea Sports games in general so Live is my game. I had i think it was 2K6 it was an ok game but i still like Live a lot better. It is more realistic like bob said and it tends to give you better challenges and last year with the Live NDA that just made the game even more fun with guys on hot and cold streaks
