The score is 8-7 the Mets are pitching in the bottom of the ninth. Alex Rodriguez is up to bat he hits a pop fly in short outfield and Luis Castillo drops the ball and two runs came in and the Mets lose. The Yankees escape with this one and the Mets continue with their poor performance.

This one made me want to laugh, cry, boo, and scream at my TV. Cubs vs. Twins, top of the 8th, men on first and third with ONE out. Fly ball to rightfielder Milton Bradley. He catches it. Stands there. Stands there. Stands there. Turns. Throws the ball into the bleachers and starts jogging in. So while Milton Bradley is good at Connect Four, apparently he can not count to three.

The Cubbies got me, got me questioning, where are the runs??
Both of those plays made me fall out of my chair laughing whe i saw them on Sportscenters "Not Top Ten" this morning. Bradley made two terrible plays in the game thoguh missing that one pop up in the sun. And slon Adam Dunn going in for a fly ball and hitting his glove and going past him

Cubs fans are finding out what Indians, Dodgers, A's, Padres, and Rangers fans already know, and that is that as talented as Milton Bradley may be, he is a flat out idiot.
There's no other way of putting it, or sugar coating it.
The guy is an all-star caliber outfielder who's now on his 7th different team.
That has got to be a red flag.
Teams just don't give up on talented players like that.
Pmoe they were going to lose the game. The Cubs have played poorly to this point and lets be honest Milton Bradley isn't the smartest guy in the world, heck I think somewhere right now Larry Walker is smiling saying see I'm not the only one. The difference between Milton Bradley's and Larry Walker's was Larry Walkers was down the first base line seats, Milton throws it into souvenir city and that was hilarious haha, but I got to say funniest play was Luis Castillio it was like earlier this year when Daniel Murphy dropped the ball and the Marlins scored two runs off the error and the Marlins won 2-1. So this stuff happens to happen to the Mets frequently.

You can't say their going to lose the game till the game ends. I mean the Cubs offense could have woken up after that but of course they ddin't so it dosn't really matter that much

My comment about Bradley goes far beyond just one game.
Luis Castillo is a pretty good defensive second baseman. One play is not going to change that.
He'll be remembered for it, but most Met fans are willing to forgive Castillo for something like that.
Infielders drop pop ups. It happens. This one just happened to occur with the game on the line.
Milton Bradley is an idiot. The play 2 days ago only adds fuel to the fire.
The difference between Larry Walker, and Milton Bradley was that Larry Walker didn't have a history of doing that type of stuff. He was a great ballplayer, and in my opinion a Hall of Famer.
If what Bradley did was an isolated incident, most players, fans, and managers would be willing to forget and forgive, but it's not.
Milton Bradley has done nothing but get in the way of his talent from day one, and blames everyone else for it.
I'd be much more critical of what Milton Bradley did, then what Castillo did, and judging by how each manager reacted after the game, that's exactly what happened.
And if the Cubs keep playing like this, it will be interesting to see how much longer they are willing to put up with Bradley's antics.
I'd release someone like that before making him a bench player. No way am I going to put up with someone like that when they aren't even playing everyday.
Milton Bradley reminds me of Lamar Odom, great talent and great potential but doesn't know how to use it correctly. Milton Bradley and Lamar Odom have a similar thing in common they have a poor work ethic and they are lazy. Lamar can get away with it more than Milton because Lamar is like the third or fourth option for the Lakers, but with Milton the Cubs need him to start stepping up and if he doesn't step up then they probaly will be sitting on their couches when October rolls around.

Maybe they can find a way to trade Bradley to someone who is willing to take an idiot or even trade back and get Mark DeRosa which might have been thre stupiest trade over the offseason
