Pro bowls don't mean ****, its a popularity contest. Peters isn't a veteran, he's only been in the league 5 years. Thats not a veteran. How is he better than what you have if he gave up the most sacks last year? How do you know the guys they have right now aren't better? They haven't had that much playing time.
This gives philly the best O-line in the NFL provided Stacy Andrews returns to form. PLus they went from one of the older O-Lines with Tre Thomas and Jon Runyan at the tackles to having Jason Peters and Stacy Andrews.

Are you guys high? He gave up the most SACKS last year, how does that make him good? For all you people that don't know giving up sacks isn't good. The Pro Bowl is ****. Most Fans who vote go off names i.e Favre. I don't know how I could make that any clearer.
When he gives up the most sacks, and he gets voted to the pro bowl. That means majority of the fans who vote are homers, or have no idea what they're talking about.
Yeah i have to side with Baja here on this topic because alot of the time what happens is fans will just go and vote for people they like and possibly that person didn't deserve to be there. Hence Favre this past season really didn't deserve to go but he got voted in over say Philp Rivers who had an outstanding season. Its a popularity contest people

As an Eagles fan I'm still up in the air about it. Baja is right, he did give up the most sacks in the league for a tackle and the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest although less than any other sport because the fans only count for a third. I actually would still rather see Runyan back, he has been one of the most solid O-lineman here in recent memory, we signed him like 7 years ago and he never missed a game, I want him back for some veteran leadership and the vocal captain because with Dawkins leaving its not the player they have to replace and lets face it Dawkins doesnt have much left in the tank but its the soul of the team they have to replace.
