There's only three team announcers working in baseball today, who I would describe as being all time greats, and now two of them have now died in the past year.

All I can say about Harry Kalas is that I can only think of one other announcer out there who I would rather listen to call a baseball game.

RIP Harry Kalas, the voice of the Phillies now and forever.

On a note about Kalas.. I can only imagine that his death has the same effect on Phillies fans that the death of another Harry had on Cubs fans.

Well this guy isn't an annoucer but this guy has been the PA Announcer for the Yankees a very long time Bob Sheppard he is a legend in the game of baseball.

I'm gonna show a rare moment of homerism right now.. As a Cubs fan I gotta say that the Cubs radio team is great. They may not be the best but its how they call the game that makes them special. Pat Hughes has the perfect voice for baseball and Ron Santo is hilarious. Santo is extremely passionate about the Cubs.

Its gonna be really weird for me. I dont know the Phillies without Harry. Its been a very sad day in Philly.

Another guy that has been there awhile with the team is the Mariners announcer Rick Rizz he has been with them since the franchise started up.
