Hey guys I just wanted to give you guys some ideas of who maybe the stars of tommorrow that are working their way up from the NBA Developmental League. Here are the top 5 prospects
James White- has a high scoring abiltity and has amazing athleticism even though this guy has only played one game with the Rockets this year, he had five points in four minutes of action. Experts expect this guy to make an impact in the upcoming years for the Rockets.
Demetres Nichols- plays for the Iowa Energy as of now, even though he has only played in two games and averaging 2.5 points a game he has domintated in the D-League. THere he averages 20.5 points a game and expect big things from him in the future.
Shaun Livingston- Wow to think this guy ended up here after playing with the Clippers, but he got waived by the Grizzlies and he now plays for the Tulsa 66ers. He has been plagued with knee injuries his whole career. He as of now is averaging 6.8 points a game and 6.2 assists. Expect him to rise to the top and go to the NBA in the near future. He is also the second highest draft pick to play in the D-League next to Jay Williams.
Blake Ahearn- This guy is going wonders for the Dakota Wizards he is averaging 22.6 points per game he if he wins MVP will be the only player since Hornets player Devin Brown to win MVP and Rookie of the Year in the NBA Developmental League.
Demarcus Nelson- Name sound familiar it should be, he played for DUke but he was undrafted, he has been playing for the Austin Toros but he actually started some games for the Golden State Warriors this year but after a stint assignment in Bakersfield he was cut. Then he joined Austin Toros. He has been averaging 12 points and 5 assists a game since has joined them.
My opionion: My opionion is that Shaun Livingston will end up playing in the NBA really soon, but the person who is making the biggest impact on the list is Demetre Nichols he has been called up on this list more than anyone else has from the NBA Developmental League.

Bob, when I think of top prospects of tomorrow, I think of the currently top tier talent at the college and high school levels. I do not consider NBDL players top prospects. Granted there are some good players in that list, but apparently they are not good enough to be in the NBA on a consistent basis.
Woops I'll change the subject but the NBA D League has some pretty good players that are drafted in second round and they make a big impact right away.

I agree that there are some good players currently in the NBDL, but just do not see any of these making a major impact at the NBA level. Demarcus Nelson had started some games for the injury plagued Warriors this season. And even though Livingston is in the D League, I do not consider him a D Leaguer. He is only there trying to rehab his knee and prove that he can still play. If he can do that he will be out of there soon. And as far as James White goes, I do not really see him making it anywhere. I watched him play many games in college at the University of Cincy. He is as athletic as anyone however just doesnt have th drive to suceed. He is not a great shooter and does not even try to defend. Just another athlete that will make it on a roster because of his athleticisim.
