There is absolutely NO way selig can take the record from bonds... NO WAY! If you take the record away from bonds where is it going to stop? How can screw with only a few records and not look at every single record in the book if you do this. No way selig can take the record away.
Go Selig give that record to Aaron. Hey cheesy did Aaron take steroids um no, did Bonds take steroids uh yea. Hey cheesy the reason Aaron hit all those homeruns was because he had the quickest wrists in all of Baseball. Bonds was averaging around 35 homeruns a year and then he jumps up to around 45 a year and in 2001 he got 73 by the way astrics that too, this is what Bud Selig should do. Finally Bud does something right.

Bud Selig is nothing but a hypocritical jackass!!! Am I to really believe that Bud just found out A-roid tested positive in 03'. I didnt see him complaing when he turned a blind eye when McGwire and Sosa were finally putting asses in the the seats (not to mention money in good ole Bud's pocket) some 4 years after the lockout. Now he wants to change records, well lets ask the question as to why Bud wants to do this, could he be feeling guilty for allowing the obvious to go on for as long as it did before the government had to step in and tell Bud to regulate the game or they would have done it for them. Until the the drug testing consists of blood tests or they come up with a urine test for HGH there is STILL the question of is this guy jucing. When is justice going to be served against Bud, he is the one to blame as for why this went on for so many years.
I agree with Wally, since everyone wants to see A-Rod and everyone else get hung for taking steroids Selig jumps on the bandwagon. Selig is a hypocrite and should be outed as Commissioner of Baseball. He knew what was going on, didn't do anything, this happened on his watch.
Don't take the record away from Bonds and I give Hank Aaron props for saying no.
I think he makes way to mcuh money for what he does. He is makeing almost 18 million dollars and thats nuts. Why should he be able to make all that money.

Selig is definetly overpayed and there is no way they should take it away from Bonds. The hall of fame is about records and numbers, not about whats right and wrong. Bonds has more home runs than aaron, therefore he should be the home run king. I personally dont like bonds, but hey, he hit more homers
Bob if you want to change this record are you telling me you're willing to look at EVERY SINGLE other record that involves players from the steroid era and see if you should change those. Because if you change this record, you'll have to at least look at all of them. Baseball shouldn't be worried about that now.
Won't matter because A-Rod is going to have at least 800 HR's before he's done barring injury.
He has an outside shot of getting to 600 this year, and he will only be 34 at years end.
He'll be at 700 by the time he's 36 at that pace. Plus he's in great shape (maybe illegally) so I don't see why he couldn't go into his early 40's if he wanted to.
But then according to some it won't matter because he used the juice. He could hit 1,000 but some still think it should be aaron's record, which i totally disagree with.
Bonds has never been "caught" using steroids, that is the other issue. he never tested positive that we know of. He aid he used flax seed oil and didnt know he was using a steroid but he never violated any of baseballs rules in doing so. How can you take a record away from soemone if they ddnt break any rules.

They caught him with the clear and creme remeber, and then they have him in the book Juiced. He is one of the 103 players who hasn't been named yet, but we know he took them, look at the change of his body figure

In case anybody is wondering, steriods are illegal, does cocaine have to be a banned substance for players not to use it. Reguardless of weather he broke any rules, what he did was ILLEGAL.
Actually he wasnt in Juiced Bob. Read the book. he was named in book of Shadows by two reporters who know someone who know someone. And as far as doing something illegeal and not getting punished, Bill Clinton was pres for 8 yrs and did a lot of illegal stuff.

yeah but as far as baseball goes, he should not be penalized in any way because he didnt break any MLB rules in 2001-2003
So what youre saying is if Bonds walked out on the field and stabbed someone or shot someone that he shouldnt be punished because its not written in the rulebook that you cant stab or shoot anyone. Now lets be honest and get straight to the point, if Bonds did nothing wrong then why wont his trainer testify, why has this guy served 15 months in prison if there is nothing to hide.
Sorry meant Book of Shadows, but comeone everyone cloes to him is saying that he did it. I mean they are having four people testify against him and his girl friend says that he did it, wheter she's a reliable source or not I don't know. They have Jason and Jeremy Giambi testiying and that guy Bobby Estaillia, it doesn't look good for him, and cheesy if you remember that in 2003 when Major League Baseball tested the player for steroids, how do we know he didn't test positvie, because if you remember that they kept those names anoyonmous.

I dont have a problem with any of these people having the records. Baseball brought this upon themselves. They knew this was going on for years. Seriously, Brady Anderson hit 50 HR's in a season and no one said anything. If Hank says it's ok, then it's fine with me.

Jesse Ventura (of all people) actually brought up a great point in an article I read today. Back when the US Congress was going after wrestling and the use of steroids they went after Vince McMahon...the guy who runs it.
Baseball should be treated the same way with the US Congress going after Bud Selig. In my eyes he is just as guilty.
Well in all honesty most people know that the wrestlers took steroids so they could stay in tip top shape, I mean even though its choreograhed the slams hurt and they need to get better soon so yah.

Amen brother, he deserves more of the blame than the players.
while most of the blame should go to selig, lets not forget about the MLBPA. unlike WWE, MLB has a players association that doesnt want any part of steroid testing. so who else is to blame? How about Donald Fehr or Gene Orza or Mark Miller, who said steroids werent even an issue in ann interview with Michael Kay
Well boys in my opinion this is going to be one memorable summer. The perverbile sh*t is about to hit the fan. This whole A-Roid business is just the tip of the iceberg. If you guys thought last years Mitchell Report was the end well let me tell you that that was only the pregame show. Innocent or gulity alot of guys names are going to be dragged through the mud, but trust me when I tell you this, in the end it will be good for the game.
