Today Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks were traded to the Toronto Raptors for Jermaine O' Neal and Jamorio Moon. What were the Heat thinking? The Heat just got Jermaine O' Neal who has a lot of knee problems and can not stay healthy. Jamario Moon is a good player, but my only concern with Jamario Moon is if he can shoot. The Toronto Raptors got the better end of this deal by far. But, Shawn Marion will only be in Toronto until the end of the season. If I was a Heat fan I would be mad and if I were a Toronto Raptor fan I would be happy.
Jermaine O'Neal just didn't fit on what has been a very dissapointing team this year in the Raptors, and Shawn Marion has been no where near the scoring machine he was in Phoenix.
Both O'Neal and Marion are in the final years of their contracts, and both players will probably be better off in their new systems.
If anything Miami got the better end of this deal, because they may have just become a dark horse to win the East by picking up Jermaine O'Neal.
Why couldn't this trade have happened yesterday? Before Joking Noah let Shawn Marion dunk on him with 1.1 seconds left in a tie game with a foul to give.

Shawn Marion has bottom line has not been the same ever since he left the Suns and Jeramine O' Neal hasn't been the same since he left the Pacers, so what does this say. They are both out of there prime and they are just holding on to their careers as of now. The Raptors I think will benefit more from this because Shawn Marion can still rebound for you and do some interior scoring for you.
