Former AL MVP and current Houston Astros shortstop Miguel Tejada was charged today with lying to congress about steroids. He faces up to a year in prison right now, with reports saying he will probably take a lesser charge.
With A-Rod and Tejada adding more blackeyes to the game of baseball and many more to come; what are your thoughts about this? Is this just the beginning to "pandora's box" being opened up on Bonds and Clemens?
I can not wait for all the damage from the steroid era to be over with.
I'm so tired of baseball its not even fun to watch. I'll be honest I used to watch so many baseball games and now I hardly watch them for the fact about the steroid using I hate people that have to cheat to get an advantage, but in baseball it happens all the time.

The thing people forget is that Palmeiro said tejada gave him the shot that showed he took steroids. Palmeiro clamied Tejada said it was a b-12 shot. Maybe Palmeiro was telling the truth.

Anabolic steroids have been banned in the United States since 1990 when congress passed the controlled substances act. Whether or not testing was stricter is a league by league basis. So yes, steroids were illegal.

hey...who knows who is telling the truth nowdays. A-Rod said he never did then said he did. Tejada said he didnt know wanyone who was using then said he did know....truth is only applicable when confronted with a lie.
