LA the best team in the league?

The lakers just beat the cavs giving cleveland their first home loss of the season. After this win and their win against the celtics on thursday, is t safe to say LA is the best team in the NBA?

i still like Boston's 3 Party Garnett, Pierce and Allen and dont forget theres Rajon Rondo. one of the best lineups in the game. on the bench that have Big Baby Davis, Tony Allen, Leon Powe and Eddie House.

God bless the Spurs beating the Lakers 105-99. Ray Allen 18 points but only one three hit. Tim Duncan and Matt Boner each had 23 points. The Spurs will ride the momentum in the playoffs and get to the NBA CHampionship.

the cavs are playing very well so far this season, but didnt the lakers beat them twice? thats why im coosing the Lakers, because they have wins against all of the good teams in the league, except orlando who i dont think they beat yet.

Honestly i really don't care that much about the best team right now at this very moment but im going to pick boston to win the nba championship again. They know how to win and now l.a is going to have to deal with bynum gone again. Yes they did win some big games without him but with boston getting their swagger back, it's tough to beat them, especially 4 times.

Hey penn buddy the Spurs beat the Celtics on Sunday just tol et you know and now with Andrew Bynum out (again thanks to Kobe) the Lakers will slip and probaly lose in the Western Conference Finals.

I do like the Adam Morrison trade they made. he fills the Luke Walton role except hes a better 3 pt shooter..

At this point I'd have to say Lakers are the best, but it's a pretty close race for #1 right now.

If you consider the Cavs, Celtics, or Magic to be the best team in the NBA, you won't get much of an argument from me.

I'm not too big on San Antonio being the best team in the NBA as of now, just because they haven't been fairing too well against good teams until just recently, but they have been coming on pretty strong after starting out the year 2-5.  Since then, they've been 32-10 which is right up there with anyone else in the NBA.  Plus they're track record is as proven as anybody.

bob i know the spurs beat the celtics, and i know bynum is hurt, but right now Kobe is playing the best he has all season. Also, Odom is reemerging as a good player for them, and they have gasol and walton, and a pretty strong bench. what im getting at is that even without bynum, top to bottom i think the lakers are better and deeper than the spurs

Thats your opionion and heres mine the Spurs have been aging true, but without Andrew Bynum your center is Chris Mihm, great center right there. The Spurs can rebound better than the Lakers can now. The Spurs have a solid bench, they got Kurt Thomas, Micheal Finley, and Bruce Bowen.
