The Oakland Athletics have announced today they have resigned former AL MVP Jason Giambi to a 1-year deal today.

i applaud the oakland a's for being pretty active this off-season with this move and trading for matt holliday. they might just contend with the angels next year for the al west

At 38 it will be interesting to see if Giambi still has the pop in his bat. Being a Yankees fan he really didn't live up to his potential when they initially signed him.

Ha this is nice man. Jason Giambi is a grat power hitter no doubt, but he lacks fielding skills. He is horrible at playing first base last year he had a lot of errors.
