Its not always good to go where your from I can make many cases for that, Richie Sexson good power hitter came to Seattle he is now cut and not doing anything. My next example is Ken Griffey Jr. He plays for Seattle gets 400 homeruns he goes to Cincy gets injured and plays half the season at best.

Ok well i still think Texiera will end up in Boston or LA but i believe the Yankees if there willing to they will cough up a 10 Year 200 million dollar deal to get him to come play for them

Prolly he loved playing there but he wants what is best for his family also which could be moving back to the east coast and playing for the Sox.


Is the Furcal saga finaly done?? Who knows now he is now said to ahve resigned with the Dodgers on a 3 yr 33m contract. Good move for the dodgers or bad move?

He's already signed a preliminary deal with the Braves and now he has done the same with the Dodgers. Hell as much as we know he could end up going and playing for the freaking Florida Marlins. I doubt he will i think he will stay in LA for now

They didn't get outbided they just arn't willing to give up as much as Tex wants. Hes asking for in the rage of like 180-200 m which is alot for someone who really hasn't hit his prime totaly yet

I would rather have Tex for 8 Years only cause Manny is declining in health and is getting older and half ass it in the out field while Tex is just hitting his prime and is a good defender who can give you 30 HR and 150 RBI a year

Id rather have Tex because he's a switch hitter. That makes him a bit more valuable plus he isnt as bad defensivley.

You could always put Manny as a DH for an American League team. The problem is that Mark Texeira will probaly have what we call a contract year, where everyone happens to decline tremendously in production wise

Yea i am hearing this now also. I think that the Tex darma is gonna go for a while still and then i wouldn't be surprised to see the Yankees offer Manny a 3 ur deal somewhere around 30-50 M. He says he wants to wait and find out where Tex goes before he makes any deals

Well now theres still an outside chance he goes to the Yankees they just havn't made an offer yet. hes gonna relize that once he hasn't been signed by mid to late Febuary he should just sign with the sox or the Angles if the said Oriles and Nationals dont give him a good enough offer
