The best QB in the League is Tom Brady and we all know that. But the best QB this season is a close tie between Eli and Drew Brees. Now The Saints might not be leading their division but Brees is putting up big games every week and hes been doing it without Colston and Sochkey msot of the time. Now we have to see what he can do with out Reggie Busch for a few weeks.

i don't know what you consider to be big games dale, here are a few of his games.2 interceptions 1 touchdown that has happened twice.1 interception 0 touchdowns. 1 touchdown 0 interceptions. He's fumbled the ball 3 times. He's thrown 7 interceptions.

I think Big Ben is the best in the League, he dont have the stats to prove but he has the ring to prove it. same with eli they are both great qbs(big ben & eli) eli has the stats to prove it and Big ben dont have the stats this year to prove it. They both won super bowls with teams in the wild card and on the road every game too.

I would agree with Dale that Brady is the best in the league. But this year its gotta be Brees, not just for what hes done but for who he's been doing it with. Dont discount the numbers Warner has put up though, Cards make the playoffs and you can smell comeback player of the year.

my opinion is biased but when 100% healthy, donovan mcnabb needs to be in the conversation for best qb. and no matter what he says, he hasnt been 100% since 2006. we saw what he could do in 2004 when he was healthy and had weapons. ever since he hasnt had both.

I don't think that Donovon McNabb is the best quaterback in the league. He is a really good one and really solid. I don't think he is the best for a couple of reasons one he doesn't have all the stats the other QB's have. Two he gets injured a lot during the course of the year, he hasn't finshed a full season in three of the past five seasons. The third and most important reason is he doesnen't have a Super Bowl Ring.

well if not having a super bowl ring is that important, than why is dan marino always in conversation to be the best qb? i know mcnabb doesnt have close to the stats that he has. but as i said when 100% mcnabb is a #1 playmaker. no hes not the best in the league but if health went his way he certainly would be

yea i agree with PSU when mcnab is 100% hes like superman on the field able to do everything, throw it, and runn it. and he has DeSean Jackson this year which helps his passing game. eagles have a great OL which helps the run and when u can run u can do some play action which keeps the defense confused if u goin to run the ball or pass it when u have those 2 things you can win most of your games.

No thats where you are wrong sports genius Donovan can't run anymore. He isn 't as fast as he used to be and he is a great passer don't get me wrong but he just can't run the way he used to which made him one of the greatest QB's

It dosn't matter that he can't run as well anymore. There arn't any real good running QB's in the NFL. The only one you could really say is a good mobile QB is Vince Young.

You guys are drawing a fine line between being a runner and being mobile. You can be the slowest QB in the league and still be mobile. John Elway, Steve Young, and Mark Brunnell to name a few, these guys arent going to outrun many people but move around in the pocket well. Its not that Donovan cant run he just doesnt unless he has to. This is the NFL and Donovan looked around and realized QB's at this level win Super Bowls with their arms not their legs.

Yah but Wally Steve Young could run as a quarterback when he first started out just like Fran Tarketon Micheal Vick and Steve McNair. THey were really fast when they first got in and the only two out of that list that could throw and run really good were Fran Tarketon and Steve Young. Micheal Vick can't throw the ball to save his life and Steve McNair was a solid passer but not a great passer.

Ok if you are moblie then you can get out of situations that are tight lke Eli's play at the SB even though hes not that mobile. If you can make smart plays and throw the ball good then you are a good QB.

The NFL has realized that running QB's dont win Super Bowls which is probably why there isnt really any left. What I think makes a good QB is the little things like throwing the ball away instead of running out of bounds when youre 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Kinda like not showing rookie signs when youve been in the league 5 years. Eli has turned the corner I never thought he would, even going back to the 1st half of last year he made alot of rookie mistakes and would get that deer caught in the headlights look in his eyes.

Yah I would have to agree with that. Eli Manning is one of those quarterbacks that got better in my opionion when Jeremy Shockey went out last year. Jeremy always wanted the ball and he whined if he didn't get it I think that helped out the Giants a bunch so now he could throw to whoever he wanted to and not worry about throwing the ball to one person

the only reason peyton is bad this year is because of addai. evrybody knows the colts cant run the ball. that takes out the playaction passes. peyton has always had a good runningbacks like edge james and joseph addai.peyton loves the playaction.only the best quarterbacks can be great without a running game.like tom brady.to prove my point,name one qb in this league that is good and has a bad running game.

A good QB is a QB who can lead his team to victory anygive sunday. McNabb is doing good this year and is still running for TD's as Badnewsman said. They might notbe as long but it dosn't matter.
