Well all i can say is good job by the Rays. They played better than the Sox this whole series. the sox needed to hit the dam ball but hell they played a great series.

Not so fast my friends, the Sox are back to their old ways, 9 outs away from season over, down 7 runs and the Rays folded like a cheap lawnchair. The kind of loss that can be really devasting to a team, take the wind out of their sails. Sox in 7? I do believe so. Oh and Bob, I do believe you predicted the Phillies to be swept twice already. Finally to CO, 4 major sports, 25 years, translates to 100 years in 1 sport, I do feel your pain.

I learnd my lesson never to write off the sox. I said they couldn't win being down 7 nothing and bam they come back and win. Most intense game ever

I think Boston can pull of another Comeback win like they did against Yankees 3-0 Cleveland 3-1 and last year which i forgot but i think Boston can do it again. And boston has a more vertan Team then the Rays.

Hey heres the thing when the Red Sox beat the Yankees they couldn't score any runs when they versed the Indians the Indians couldn't score any runs. The Rays can score runs and will win the WOrld Series

Ok so what happens if hte Beckett of last eyar shows up then he could shut down the Rays. Even if the Rays score runs the Red sox can also score runs.

i got my boston red soxs in the ALCS wining game 6 & 7 with Beckett, and Lester pitching those 2 games. Beckett is always good in the Postseason in Pressure, won with Boston a couple and won with the Marlins. and Lester has some really good Starts pitching 1 hits and no nos. and if Boston hits the rays starting pitchers, they will win those two games.

Well tonight they HIT THE BALL!!!!!! Beckett pitched great in five innings of work. Now just need lester to do his work tomrrow and The Sox are going to go and win the Series again.

Ha! Im not a Rays fan. I just always knew they would make the WS since the playoffs started. There are teams in which I am fans of (Detroit) then there are teams in which I think will make the WS (TB, LA Dodgers)

Oh boy CO no offense but I love how people say they pick these teams to go all the way at the start of the World Series. People have one answer and then during the playoffs they switch and say they chose that team

Well when the playoffs started i said the The Cubs and Angles would amke it and i thought that the Rays would make the ALCS and blam but hell they made it to the series. Now the Phillies are going to beat them

The team that usually wins is the one with the deeper pen, in this case that would be the Phillies. I say Phillies in 5 but if history repeats itself it will be a sweep. Bob, I just think youre blind because youre a Mets fan, dont get me wrong, I like that, it shows youre a true fan to your team. If the Mets were in the World Series I wouldnt want them to win and I sure as hell wasnt rooting for the Giants to win the Super Bowl.

Well both teams have great and deep Bull pens. The Phillies jsut came out and played betetr last night against a rays team that i believe was tired from jsut finishing that seven game series against the soxs. Maybe they were jsut still on that high. Who knows but still i think that the Pphillies can win tonight and might have to go back to phillie for game 5 but if it does Hamles has the ball then

Ur d@#m right I am still bitter but if you remember this the Rays lost the first game to the Red Sox and won that series so I think they can win the next one and take two of three in Philly and finsh it off it Tampa

Tampa will have to face what they really didnt in Boston, bitterly cold and Saturdays forecast is also calling for rain. Sooner or later those hits have to start coming with guys on base right?

Boston is a lot better team than Philly is. I hate Boston the most. Boston has great hitting and pitching. Philly doesn't have great pitching and there hitting is slumping

Phillies take all 3 at home and win in 5 like I said before, and if the Phils hitting is slumping what do you call what the Rays have done, Phils have out hit them just not getting hits with runners in scoring postion. Jimmy Rollins needs to look around the Trop to get a good definition of what front runners are. Rays total attendance for the regular season was under 2 million while the Phillies were over 3, the fans in Tampa dont deserve a championship like the passionate fans of Philly do. When the Lightning won the Stanley Cup they couldnt even sellout their arena.

I think the on;y problem the Phillies might have in taking all three games at home is the guys they have pitching. Moyer going against Garza and Garza's been lights out all postseason and Moyer is getting old. Blanton vs Sonninstein in game four could be interesting but the problem with Blanton is he gives up to many hits. Game five is Hamels vs Kazmir again and could be the deciding game in the series.

Hey don't be dissing Moyer because he is getting old. Infact he is old, but he still is a very good pitcher. I think he got even better when he left the Mariners as most guys do. He happens to have had a bad game in NLCS. This is the only guy on the Phillies that I like and respect. He happens to be the nicest baseball player I have ever met and seen. He always does stuff for our community around Seattle and Tacoma area. He always helps the youth.

What can you say about Moyer. His one start in the NLDShe was being pinched and not getting the calls, had a bad start in the NLCS but everybody around here knew that would happen since his only regular season start against the Dodgers he gave up 10 earned. Moyer is due, he has been the ace of the staff for the better part of the season by definition of ace, the one that stops the losing streaks. He is 45 and won 16 games which is something the likes of Carlton, Ryan, Maddux have never done. Garza been good in Tampa, Tampa was a 500 club on the road, and weather wise its like April again. This isnt Boston or New York its Philly and a Philly thats been waiting 25 years, the crowd will be loud and raucous. Martin Luther King Jr. once said " I have a dream" well WallyGator has a dream and its Phils in 5, but Im not greedy, I'll take going back to Tampa up 3-2.
