Rays have nothing to lose.....no one expected them to be here so they can play loose....think back to 2003 when the Marlins won the series....no one expected them to be there and they just played hard and loose and didnt let the pressure affct them.

Rays in 7 and I agree with CO, the Rays remind me of the 1997 & 2003 Marlins and the 2002 Angels. Teams no one expected to be there, played great ball and won the World Championship.

I actually like the Red Sox in 6...Playoff experience has to count for something...Not to mention these Red Sox look like 96 Yankees, build from within developing a core of players from the farm system and have a few high price free agents and it all blends in together! But they still wont beat the Dodgers in the World Series

Gotta go with the Redsox in 7, like my partner said experience has to count for something. But its the Phillies they wont beat in the World Series. A man can dream right. 1 championship is all I ever hve asked for, just 1.

I got the rays in 7. Playoff experience does account for something and that's why the red sox are going to win 3 games. But like peck and co said they rays don't have anything to lose... no pressure... no reason to even be there right now. Now who do you think is going to be under more pressure?? The pressure is just going to be way to big for boston to over come. Boston better not look over the rays either thinking it's going to be a cakewalk because they're going to get punched right in the chin if they do.

I got Rays in six I like what they have. But I believe the key will be in Game two the team that wins that game will be the team that comes out and wins the whole series and goes to the WOrld Series.

Id like to see Coco Crisp and james Shields in a steel cage match....Id go with Coco since he has the speed on Shields though.

Traffic sucks.....most of the people are rude to outsiders....and u border Camden, NJ which smells like a litter box.

I couldnt live in the city, they got the 3rd highest city wage tax in the country and your right about Camden, not to mention your saftey on the subway system after sundown. I live in the burbs about a 20 min drive to Center City. You think people are rude you havnt seen anything like an Eagles game. I am ashamed of the people, I had a buddy telling me when he was at the Eagles/Steelers game a woman wearing a Steelers jersery in a wheelchair was spat on.

Personally I hate all Philly teams the Flyers , Phillies, 76ers, and especially the Eagles. The Eagles are the biggest losers in the world. I mean they have 6 year olds flipping off the opposing team and having their dads pat them on the back. If I did that I would get grounded for a hell of a long time. They have the hotel call the rooms they stay at around 3 in the morning. PHilly sucks.

I hear you CO, outside the casino radius AC is a real dump, unless you like the crime, hookers, and drugs. And Bob Philly fans arent as bad as the media portrays them to be, they still talk about booing Santa Claus which was in like 1971. As an opposing fan you could enjoy a game at any venue but the Linc, as a former season ticket holder its not a good idea to show up wearing opposing colors, most people show up to tailgate around 8am and when I say tailgate I mean being completely hammered by 9am. The Eagles may be the only team in the league that actually has a judge. You get in trouble and you go right to the judge and go to jail or fined on the spot.

I had popcorn thrown on me I had people spill beer on me when I was staying with my grandparents in Philly when I went to the Giants philly games a few years back just because I was wearing a Plaxico Burress jersey. THat is not overhyped that is the truth.

What a game tonight. I missed most of it cause i was out at my homecoming but i got home and got to see the finish. Man it was a tough loss for Boston but i think they can bounce back at home with Lester their shut down guy pitching game three.

They threw snow balls at Jimmy Johnson and the Cowboys. Santa just got in the way. They never talk about that its all about booing Santa before I was even born. That was the good old days, the Buddy Ryan days, the Gang Green days(snow balls at the Cowboys), it was about a month after the bounty bowl on Thanksgiving Day when Luis Zendejas was knocked into next week and accused Buddy of putting a bounty on his head. It should be noted that Zendejas did go to wrong sideline after the hit, not to yap at Buddy but because he didnt remember what team he played for, we hd cut him like 3 weeks before.
P.S. I told you that you cant go to an eagles game wearing the other teams colors, its brutal I know but I dont agree with it. It got so bad they have a judge on site.

i dont mean to float my own boat, but back in july when these forums started up we picked teams who would be in the world series and i picked the phillies and red sox. so in the nlcs im pullin for philly and for the alcs im pullin for the red sox.

See i think this is were the Postseaosn expirence might help the Sox. See if you remeber they got down 3-1 last year and look what happend. The Rays dont got nothing to lose but to go all out. Boston gets Dice K back to pitch game five on Thursday and they need him to pitch like he did on Friday. Wakefield needs to pitch a good game tonight and The Bats need to wake the ****ign hell up and hit with RISP.

Dale its not going to happen now the Rays have beaten the Red Sox three in a row and it looks like the Red Sox have given up hope. They suck at pitching and can't hit the damn ball to save there lives. Personally I love this as a Yankee fan the worst thing I can see is the Red Sox win the World Series. I personally would like to rub it in Chirs Cause's face now saying I told you that the Red Sox wouldn't win the World Series this year. But I am still mad/ disappointed that the Yankees laid an egg in the second half of this season. NOrmally the Yankees are good in the second part of the season. This year however was very different and I think that might have been when we lost Ching Ming Wang for the year that really hurt our chances at winning because we couldn't pitch anymore and when Jorge Possada was out that hurt us to due to the fact that he calls the best games for the pitchers and then we put in Jose Molina who isn't as good as a game caller as JOrge is.

Hey look it at 04 and 07. The Red Sox lost three games in a row each of those years and they won 4 in a row in 04 and 3 last year and made it to the Series and won. I could see it happening again. The Yankees once they lost Wang they were done. Posada is a very important part to that team and when he went down for rest of the year we knew they were done. I have a drop of hope still with Dice-K, Beckett and Lester lined up to pitch the last three games. The batting needs to wake the hell up and Bay can't be the only one geting hits.

i think the rays have this thing wrapped up. they may lose game 5 but i think they still will win the series. the sox have done very well with their backs against the wall in recent years, but the rays look like the team of destiny

Oh yea they do. If they beat em they beat em. The Rays are in the postseason for the first time. Red Sox have won the Series before. Let the Rays take there turn and attempt to win it. If they win it they win it. I think if they face the Phillies they will ahve the upper hand cause Howard and Rollins aint hittin worth a ****

Rollins hit a leadoff homerun yesterday but that was against Chad Billingsley who isn't that good in my opionion. But anyways the Philles make it back to the World Series and are about to get there a## swept by the Rays and Tampa will finally have something to celebrate.
