Dodgers v. Cubs and Brewers v. Phillies...Who you got???
I will be homer and take the Dodgers in 4. I think the Dodgers steall game 1 on Wed and then win games 3 & 4 at home. I personally will be at game 3 at beautiful Dodger Stadium so Kuroda better not disappoint!! I think the Brewers will upset the Phillies in 5 (Sorry Wallygator). I think that they are finally on a roll and CC is a beast plus Braun has found his swing again
Yah Bball I like a couple of your picks but I would take the Cubs over hte Dodgers because the Cubs are beasting with the best record in the MLB. I will also take the Brewers over the Phillies. The Phillies of late have been very bad in the playoffs look for them, like last year, to either get swept or win one game.

How can we be bad in the playoffs of late its only our 2nd appearance in 15 years. I gotta go with the Phillies, series could be in the bag before Sabithia even pitches. Brewers got hot against a bad Pirates team and a Cubs team that was pretty much trotting out their AAA team. I would have liked to see how the Brewers finished if they played a team with nothing to lose. Cubs should beat Dodgers rather easily, the city of LA should get down on their hands and knees and bow to Manny, otherwise they wouldnt have been there.
I like the cubs in four. They have great pitching with Dempster, Zambrano, Harden and Lilly. They have a little more power and can score more runs than the Dodgers. I like the Brewers ofer the Phillies in 5. Both of these teams have alot of talent and i feel the Brewers might have just a little more power than the Phillies. The Brewers have a little bit better of pitching also.

i like The Phillys the have a high powered offense, and i dont think that CC can keep on pitching on 3 days rest for the whole playoffs and i like the cubs cause of there pitching, and Dodges also have a high powered offense with manny loney, kemp and they have Derek Lowe for pitching cubs have int here offense Derek Lee, Fukodome, Mark DeRosa, and for pitching they have Big Z and Rich Harden
Phillies were very inexpierenced last year, same as the Brewers this year. I dont see how 1 year makes you suck in the playoffs, if thats true then your Mets really suck in the playoffs, oh yeah they have to make the playoffs to suck. Our bullpen last year is a mirror image of the Brewers pen this year, they converted like 40 of 71 save opportunities. Its true when they say you have to learn how to win and hopefully they learned something last year. It takes 3 wins to win the series and CC wont be pitching 3 games and besides I expect nothing less than a series win since we owned the Brewers this year.
Well lets see. We know that Yovani Gillardo is pitching against Hamles in game one of the Phillies Brewers. then CC vs Blank. Thats going to ahve CC on full rest and he will be able to throw another CG unless the Phillies come out and start off good and the Offense scores alot.

When are you guys going to believe in CC?? First it was "o he's going to fall apart after like 5 or 6 games." Then it was he's going to do bad in september because of yost using him in all of these CG's. Then it was he's "too tired" pitching on three days rest continuously and look what he did... carried the brewers to the playoffs on his back (with the help of braun and fielder). Gallardo didn't pitch in the philly series earlier this year so you can't say anything about the season series. The phillies could've swept them 20-0 each game and that would mean nothing because the playoffs are a whole different story. Dale Sveum mixed up the line-up which got them hot... not because of who they played. Putting Cameron and Durham 1-2 helped out this offense a lot
Cubs over Dodgers in 4.......Cubs have better pitching and have finally become a patient team at the plate. Dodgers have a lot of guys who strike out and you cant score if you dont put the ball in play. Phils over brewers in 5 just because the Phils have the home field advantage and have some playoff experience now. The Brewers are just happy to be in. They "shot their wad" to get in and they arent streaking like the Rockies were last year.

Actually CC just pitched Sunday so he will be pitching on 3 days rest not on full rest being that game 2 is Thursday. Phils have been money vs. lefthanded pitching all season. But CC, I will admit I love the heart, Phils had to ask both Hamels & Myers to pitch on 3 days rest but CC went to them and said give me the ball. However being a free agent at seasons end for his sake financially I would hate to see him blow out his arm.
Cubs over Dodgers in 4, Brewers over Phillies in 5...Cubs vs. Brewers in NLCS. Wild Card teams are always dominant in post season baseball because they are always scrapping there way in, I have the same feeling for the Brewers this season.
2 down 1 to go. CC cant do it everytime, at some point somebody else on that team has to step up. 7 hits in 18 innings wont get it done no matter how good the pitching is.
Yah no doubt the Brewers suck and shouldn't have gotten in this year but like normal my Mets find away to lose an important game. Boy I sorda knew this was coming but I didn't want to admit it. We are like the CUBs in the way we can't win a big game to save our life. Now the Brewers are going to get swept and then the Cubs will get swept the Dodgers will beat the Phillies and end up in the World Series.

I hate to disagree with my tag team partner, but a Dodgers-Phillies NLCS would favor the Dodgers! Right now with all the clutch hitting and pitching the Dodgers are getting they will be a difficult matchup for anyone. The phillies have had only 2 big innings where they have scored their runs and this is not the regular season so Lidge could be the second coming of Mitch Williams
All that matters is the W. Phillies bats have been hot and cold all season long and mark my words they will come around, and when they do watchout cause they will hit you from all angles. Phillies have firepower from top to bottom and the starting pitching has been awesome. Bullpen has been solid all season and I have no reason to believe that will change.
I'm not hating on the phillies at all right now but i think it's the brewers losing the series more than it is the phillies winning the series. We have 7 freaking hits in two games which is just awful for a post season team. Braun, Fielder, Hart, Hardy, Weeks, all of them must have forgot to get get off the plane in philly because our bats have done nothing. I'm definetly not calling this series yet because we are at home so who knows but we are not going to win if we continue to play like this. We had an opportunity to score in the 9th in game one and bases loaded 1 out in the 1st in game 2 and hart grounds into a dp.
I think that the Brewers shot them selves in the foot pitching CC on three days rest so many times in a row. The non batting isn't helping any but i think the Phillies have this wraped up. The Cubs are just plain out surprising me. They dont look like the same team that they did in the rgular season. They need Harden to step up and pitch a great game today

C.C had a bad game for a change... the easy answer is to say pitching him on 3 days was a bad idea but even C.C said he just couldn't finish innings. He couldn't finish 1-2 counts or innings with 2 outs... what did you want sveum to do... start dave bush instead??
Hell Bush went out and got the win tonight. I woulda started him in game three then started CC today on 5 days rest which would have been the mart thing to do.

Sorry Capt... I was at game 3 at the atmosphere was amazing. The Cubs ran into a buzzsaw. The Dodgers had been playing playoff baseball for a month in trying to catch the D'Backs, the Cubs were taking it easy. That made a huge difference
Gotta go with the Joe Torre led Los Angeles Dodgers, this team is young, they have leadership and most importantly they have good solid pitching. Dodgers in 6.
haha CO yah I wish the Yankees were in the playoffs right now but sadly there not. Anyways I think I will go with the Dodgers. The Dodgers right now look unbeatable they are hitting and having good pitching along with it. The Phillies are a good team but I don't think the bull pen will hold up
