But the USA B-Team, led by Kevin Durant, can still win gold at the World Championships. They have a nice blend of talent in Derrick Rose, Andre Igoudala, Rudy Gay and Durant and veteran leadership in Chauncey Billups, Tyson Chandler and Lamar Odom.
They know they are going to be undersized against virtually every opponent they play, but they have outrebounded the opposition by a lot in every single one of their exhibitions through sheer hustle, athleticism and determination.
It will be fun to see how far this team goes.
