The NBA Draft Thread

Post all draft discussion here:

* I don't really like the idea of John Wall going to the Wizards...especially since neither him nor Gilbert Arenas is a good 2.

* It'll be interesting to see if the Cavs make some moves and draft someone to replace LeBron.

PF, It seems like me and you are disagreeing a lot lately but the idea of Arenas at the 2 is a great idea. He has always been a score first pass second guy. He has the size and athleticism to be a pretty good 2 guard in the league

I believe Both of those guys are 2 guards. But John Wall is more of 1 guard so i think the Wizards should take Wall..

I believe the Pistons will take Cousins or Damion James, Hope they take of the two.

maybe then i'll watch the pistons more then

Both guys are Combo guards. They can both play each the 2 if they need to. Now all of that could be thrown out the window. The Wizards have atrade ready with the Magic that sends Al thorton, Randy Foye and Kirk Hinrich to the Magic for Vince Carter. VC isn't a 3 guy hes more of a 2. So that could throw a wrench in this BUT thats if the Chris Paul and James Posey to orlando for Carter and Nelson doesn't happen( They need to find a third team to take Okafor so the salaries work out).

But back to the draft. The spurs (Yet again) are big winners here. They got the best true 2 in the draft in Anderson very good shooter from Oklahoma St. Kentucky sending five players in the first round was big. Some god second round steals also. Lot of different trades. Gonna be interesting tomrrow to see what all has happend

The Heat got a great steal in the second round in Da'Sean Butler. A lot of people were doubting his skills due to the injury he suffered during March Madness but this kid is easily a top 15 pick.

Hes a solid win player. And they get him cheap since he was a second round pick and his salary doesn't count untill they sign him. They're still looking to maybe move Beasley and try to sign Wade, James and Bosh or Wade and two of the toher big names out thtere to max deals

The T'Wolves have a nice combo in Flynn and Johnson that they can ignite from their old Cuse days.

The Thunder just keep getting better. Quincy Pondexter gives them great slashing options.

Grevis Vazquez has possibly the greatest potential in this draft - a giant steal late in the 1st.

Surprised that Sheronn Collins didn't get drafted.

Not sure what to say about the Kevin Seraphin pick......
