Lakers/Thunder series

It's well known on The Wheelhouse that I'm not the biggest of Basketball fans anymore and that I occasionally am able to catch a game here or there. Mainly for the fact that I'm not sure New York has a Basketball team anymore.

With that being said I just got done watching Game 6 of the Lakers/Thunder series and it was a great game/series to watch. That Thunder team is going to be a force in the NBA for years to come, just a minor stepping stone for that team.

They have a lot of young talent, and I think in 5 years or so (this is if they keep all their good young talent) they will be just as good as the Bulls in the 90s.

It pains me to see the Thunder lose. I wanted them to win and i really thought they could. The Thunder will be a force in the league for the years to come. They have their Pg in Westbrook, A Number one scoring option and All star in Durant, Another very good young talent in Jeff Green, and a rookie this year with a lot of upside in Harden. Now having said this they need to go out in the draft and over the offseason and address one thing. A good dominating smart big man. Thats why they lost this series. They ahd no one to guard the Lakers size with Bynum, Gasol and Odom which is the reason they lsot with no one ****ing boxing out (basketball fundimentals 101). They have Serge Ibaka who could eb a good big man soon but he needs more help cause Collison, Kristic and Etan Thomas aren't going to do much help for him

I love the Thunder team. If this team sticks together, in 4 or 5 years. They could be looking at a title. Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Ibaka, Kristic w/ Green coming in to slash and Sefolosha coming in for defense. They are a team to watch out for.

$ changes that chemistry of that team. If Durant goes to free agency (I'm not sure what type of contract he has) and has an awesome $ offer then he say see ya to OKC.

I think one of the coolest moments of that series was watching the ovation the fans gave them when they lost to the Lakers in Game 6 ending the series, very cool moment.

They deserved that ovation. They are a young very talented team and you could tell by the Reactions of Durant and Green that they put everything they had into it and even though they lost they had a hell fo aseaosn going from a 23 win team last year toi a fifty win team this year
