Lebron James to be named 2010 NBA MVP

Reports are coming out that Cleveland Cavailer Lebron James will be named the 2010 NBA MVP.

Do you agree with the selection of Lebron James being named of MVP or is their someone who is more deserving of the award/honor?

Couldn't agree more.

Would also throw in Kobe Bryant in the mix, dude has been playing with a broken finger for a good percentage of the season and can still kick ass in Basketball!

Durant made OKC from a 24 winteam to a 50+ win team i think thats enough said about him

I say the only reason that LeBron is "good" is because he gets those "superstar" calls and makes the And1 shot

You make a great case on Durant being the MVP. I was really shocked he wasn't named MVP.

I'm not as shocked as you JP. The NBA kisses the asses of their big money makers. Guys like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, etc. If the average person hears that Kevin Durant won the MVP, they would be '' who the **** is this?'', but if James wins it, '' oh well obviously''

Do you really think that if people heard Kevin Durant won the MVP that they would go WTF!? I think even the common sports fan knows who this kid is now.

I think the NBA needs to look into this. I know Lebron deserved this but odds are its going to be a blow out and there are other guys out there Durant and Howard who both deserve a god shot at winning it but if they're just going to give LeBron every calla nd what ever he wanst no one else will win it

When I look at the MVP award I look at if you took a player out off the team how much importance would that player be and when I think of 2010 I think of Durant hands down.

Well JP, if you showed some random person on the street, a picture of LeBron and and picture of Durant, and asked who each one is, I really do believe that they would say LeBron and who the **** is that.

Of course it goes to Lebron James, he's the NBA golden boy. He can't do anything wrong. He is bigger than life itself, Kevin Durant should be the MVP for the way he made the Thunder playoff contenders after a dismal season last year.

Am I the only one who believes Deron Williams should've been mentioned in this voting?

No way in the hell should Williams be considered PF. The guy just doesn't score enough points.

I'm actually with PF..

But I come from a place of bias because D-Williams has been one of my favorite basketball players since his time with Illinois.

Deron Williams is a great choice too, but that would be more of a "who is this" reaction then Durant.

Durant made the biggest impact on a team this year hands down. Deron shouldnt have been included im the voting. He made an impact with his team but not bigger then Durnat D-Wade or Kobe

You don't have to score points to be an impact to your team. Williams does it with his passing. Why do you think Nash won the MVP back then? He led the league with an 11.5 assists per game. His passes allowed teammates to score 110 PPG. Points aren't the whole story.

I mean Williams does have a big impact on that team and could get maybe some third place votes but he still doesn't live up to what Lebron and Durant and a few others do for their team
