Batista is leaving because he wants to get out of the wrestling business. Batista is over 40 years old and wants to retire at some point. It's been well known for a good amount of years that at somepoint he would retire in about a 5 year span or when his contact was up. His contact is coming up and it appears he won't be around for much longer.
