Anderson Silva just needs to get his ass kicked! The problem with that is I dont think anybody can do it. The 1st 2 rounds last night I thought was utterly hillarious but the last 3 was just sad! At least GSP tries to finish fights. Dana White didnt even present the title to Anderson Silva. Last night the UFC card was good but the UFC has a marketability problem with its new 155lb champion Frank Edgar. He is good fighter but I dont think he is a big enough name to carry the division. Couple that with Anderson Silva's bizzare behavior 2 out the 5 weight classes could suffer with ratings
I like Frankie Edgar.....he gets underestimated but hes a tough kid who didnt want to be a plumber.....I think Dana is realizing he needs some people who transcend the sport....Liddell was on that path before he got knocked out repeatedly so maybe Lesner and Silva can be the lightning rods that draw casual people in
