I want to hear everyones bold predictions on the 2010 MLB season.

PF's AL Bold Predictions for 2010:
  • Orioles: Will be the only team without a 20+ HR hitter
  • Red Sox: Dustin Pedroia will NOT lead the team in BA
  • Yankees: CC Sabathia will have an ERA over 3.5
  • Rays: Carl Crawford will steal 75 bases / David Price wins 15 games
  • Blue Jays: Aaron Hill will be traded
  • White Sox: Jake Peavy will NOT lead the team in wins
  • Indians: Travis Hafner will hit 35 HR
  • Tigers: (avoiding homer prediction)
  • Royals: Zack Grienke doesn't win 15 games
  • Twins: Delmon Young gets 100 RBI's
  • Angels: Their whole lineup and Maicer Izturis will hit .300
  • Athletics: Eric Chavez actually plays more than half the season
  • Mariners: Chone Figgens steals 50 bases / Franklin Gutierrez will rob at least 8 HR
  • Rangers: Former relief pitcher CJ Wilson leads their team in wins

Well of course Grienke is not going to win 15 games. KC's offense is one of the worst.

My bold prediction on the show was Vernon Wells hitting .320 and winning the AL Comeback Player of the Year award.

No I wasn't drunk when we did that show.

For the second year in a row, no pitcher will win 20 games.

Joe Mauer will once again lead the American League in hitting.

Jorge Cantu will have the most RBI's of a player who won't hit 20 home runs.

Kyle Blanks will have the fewest RBI's of a player who will hit 20 home runs.

No team will win or lose 100 games or more.

The most improved team in the AL will be the Kansas City Royals.  In the NL, it will be the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The exact same teams will make the playoffs in the AL as did last year.

Dallas Braden will win more games then Felix Hernandez.  (aka, the worst pitcher to win at least 15, and the best not to)

Dave Trembley will be the first manager fired.

Both West division races will be the closest in either league, and will come down to the final week.

More then one pitcher will save at least 30 games despite having an ERA above 5.

If healthy, Rich Harden will lead the AL in strikeouts.

Colby Lewis will be the worst pitcher to reach double digits in wins.

Ricky Nolasco will be the best pitcher not to reach double digits in wins.

Nobody will hit 50 home runs.

Michael Bourn, Jacoby Ellsbury, Brett Gardner, Nyjer Morgan, and Juan Pierre will all have more stolen bases then RBI's.

Daric Barton will be the Billy Beane player of the year, AKA have an article written about him describing moneyball.  Last year it was Jack Cust.

No Rockie player will hit 30 or more home runs.

You will know who Charlie Haeger is before the season is over.

Mariners have the most wins out of a starting pitching rotation
Trevor HOffman will have 35 saves.
Ichiro will hit 15 homeruns.
Leaders in saves this year will be John Rauch.
People will recognize the name Casey Jannessen.
