I was looking at this guys stats from Last year when he came up half way through the season and thought this guy was a MONSTER... then after 2 games this year and has 3 HRs..
Does anyone else thing this guy is the next Monster for baseball?
Well considering he's already 28, I don't know how much star potential he has, but he is a nice guy to have in the lineup.
He's your typical slugging right fielder. He'll probably hit around 35 home runs, steal a few bases, but from a fantasy perspective his value is limited for two reasons.
One he plays for Pittsburgh, and it's very unlikely he'll top 100 RBI's, and two he has terrible plate discipline. Alot of K's, and very few walkts.
Still he's a solid outfielder to have on your team, and can be justified as a week to week starter. Just don't expect his numbers to be up there with the fantasy elites.
