Thoughts on Vikings vs Saints Game?

Well on what i thought there should of been some calls that should of been called (like goin at Favres ankle which had to be taped up) and some calls that shouldnt of been called (The Pass Interference that was called David thomas which i thought was uncatchable and he tripped on him self back peddaling)

on my thought Vikings should of won and should of never went to OT

Food for thought: Vikings got what they deserved.

If you think about it, they had many chances to win the game. The Favre-ADP miscue handoff near the goaline. The fumble by Berrian in the redzone. The holding call on Asher Allen that would have resulted in a 4th down. Remember, the Vikings defense stopped the Saints offense almost every time they turned the ball over. If the Vikings offense didn't turn the ball over, the game probably would have ended 49-28.

NO it's vintage Farve and Adrian Peterson, Adrian always fumbles when you need him to come up big and he fumbled I believe three times in the game, and we all saw Farve's wonderful pic with about eight seconds left when he could've ran and set up a fieldgoal for the Vikings. The Vikings were doomed from the beginning, if it wasn't now it would've been the Superbowl.

It's really hard to justify blaming it on the refs for losing, when you turn the ball over five times.

For 90% of the game, the Vikings played about as well as they could.  For the remaining 10% they played downright awful, and unfortunately in the playoffs, you can't afford to play awful football for any part of the game.

The only legitamate gripe I would have if I were the Vikings would be the overtime rule, which needs to change, and I don't know what the holdup is.

It's not fair that the flip of a coin can have just as much impact as any play in the game, especially if it's to go to a Super Bowl.

We can't blame the whole game on the refs....just as Pmoeh said.

But I think we can all agree that that Pass INT call on Thomas was complete bull****. The ball was easily 5 feet over his head.
