Playoff Predictions (wildcard)

AFC:

Ravens vs. Patriots

i got the Ravens beating New England for a few reasons. New England dont have Wes Welker for the rest of the playoffs. Another reason Ravens Defense is outstanding to me. Terrell Suggs, Ngata, Ed Reed, and Ray Lewis are just beast and one of the best at there own position. and Ravens are starting to get an offense with Ray Rice Running and Catching the ball and Joe Flacco having a beast Sophomore Season.

New York Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals

i have the J-E-T-S! JETS JETS JETS! They have bout the best Defense in the league.  with Derrell Revis and Bart Scott *they're whole team plays great defense. If Cincy is going to win this they are going to make sure that Carson doesnt pull what he did last time in the playoffs against Pitt. and Chad OchoCinco need to catch the ball and get TDS. Cincy D needs to put Pressure ont eh Rookie Sanchez and have to shut down the Recievers.

NFC:

Philadelphia Eagles vs the Dallas Cowboys

this one can go either way. But i'll go with teh Boys. for one reason Jessica Simpson isnt at any of Tony Romo's Games. and Tony Romo is on a Roll!!! But if the Boys' lose its cuz of there horrible kicker Nick Folk. They should start Suisham that they acquired from the Redskins.

Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals

I have Green Bay Packers beating the Cardinals overall in just about every stat. because of 3 guys on offense and 3 on defense. Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Donald Driver. Aaron Kampman, Charles Woodson and Nick Collins

what do u guys think will make it pass the wild card round

I agree with all of those picks.

Eagles Cowboys is probably going to be the closest of those three.

Bengals just have too many injuries right now.

Ravens don't present a very good matchup for the Patriots even when they had Wes Welker.

And I just don't see any way the Cardinals can beat the Packers.

I see the Ravens and the Bengals winning in the AFC and The Packers and the Eagles in the NFC. I think The bengals and Eagles get their heads out of their asses after the last week of the seaosn and will bounce back and win those games

Well two games in the books.

Cincy's passing attack never got going, as Carson Palmer threw for only 146 yards on the day, and Shayne Graham could be looking for a new job.

The only reason the Bengals were even in the game was because of Cedric Benson who was just a beast, rushing for 169 yards on 21 carries.

The Jets played about as well as they could.  They ran the ball well, and didn't have a single turnover.  That's all you can really ask for with a rookie QB under center.

The Eagles heads might still be spinning after that second quarter.

Dallas made the biggest statement of the day, as any talks of this team being talented but soft were silenced tonight in a big way.

Dallas impressed me tonight. Their offense and defense look phenomenal. That matchup with Minnesota next week will probably be the game of the week next week. Philadelphia's window of opportunity just slammed shut. I think that McNabb and Reid had a hell of a run but in my opinion one of them needs to go.

The Jets run game was once again great and Revis and the D shut down the Bengals passing attack. Mark Sanchez managed the game very well completing 80% of passes and not turning the ball over. I do think that if they travel to Indy if NE wins tomorrow that they will give the Colts a run for their money but if they have to come here to SoCal that the Chargers just have too many weapons for the Jets to stop! The Bengals should be congratulated on their season with so many tragedies. Losing a teammate and not too mention the defensive coordinators wife a day before a game is horrible to go through. The Bengals I congratulate you

I don't think the Eagles window of oppurtunity has shut at all.  They're looking at retaining virtually their entire roster for next year, so give me one reason why this team won't be back next year.

The Eagles have been bar none the best team in the NFC over the past decade.  They have only missed the playoffs twice in the last ten years, and this was the first time ever they lost in the Wild Card round in that time span.

They are having a tough time winning the big one, but I'm never a fan of making a change for the sheer purpose of making a change.  Historically speaking your way more likely to go into the tank then you are to improve.  It can site maybe two examples in the NFL of where firing a head coach simply to make a change worked out for the better, and dozens of examples where it didn't.

I think this was just a flawed Eagle team that wasn't nearly as good as people thought they were going to be.  But they have one of the best mixes of young talent and veterans in the NFL, and that's due in large part to the tremendous system they have set up which is one of the best in the NFL for developing young talent.

I wouldn't be making any big changes if I were the Eagles.  Maybe look to improve that offensive line or the linebacking core, but that would be about it.

The Eagles offensive philosophy is flawed and has been for the last couple of years. When you have no balance between the run and the pass defenses can tee off on McNabb. They are the worst short yardage team in the NFL. Without balance the Eagles will never win the big games...Balance will only come with a change of the coach
