i think people are starting to attack their weeknesses and trying to make them run the ball....the other issue is i think they went into coast mode way too soon....they need to fire it up this weekend of they are going out in the first playoff game

believe me being a saints fan it has been pretty tough to watch the last 2 weeks. i hope they pull through in week 17 and head into the playoffs on the right foot. ya gotta figure they are still the favorites in the nfc.

Carolina s going to give them a tough fight, and I think the Panthers are going to finish the season off right and beat the Saints. Also my favorite in the NFC is The Packers, they're in the top 5 in total offense and defense.

Saints are showing some chinks in their armor but they're still my favorite to win the NFC.

When they are playing at their best I don't think a team can touch them.

There's four teams I could see taking the NFC.  New Orleans, Philly, Minnesota, and Dallas.

Packers are good, I just don't think they're Super Bowl contendor good.  They may be a top five offense, but their also first in sacks allowed, which tells me that line can be had.  Any game they win is going to come down to Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball, and it's going to have to be on the road.  I think they can take Arizona if they face them, and maybe even beat one of the big four I mentioned above, but best case scenairo for them I see is NFC Championship game.  Arizona I'm just not big on at all.  Out of the six NFC playoff teams, I'd say they are by far the weakest.

The AFC for me is pretty much just the Colts, and Chargers.  The Bengals and Patriots would be third and fourth in whatever order you want to put them in, but those two teams are clearly head and shoulders above the rest in that conference.  The Jets might be able to make some noise as well, because they have without question the best defense in the NFL, but if the game comes down to Mark Sanchez throwing the ball, their done.

I hate to say it but the Eagles are my NFC favorite.....solid defense and they now actually have playmakers at WR which you now needin the playoffs

The Packers have a top 5 offense and defense!!!!! How are you guys not recognizing that????? They have a top 5 QB in Rodgers, they have a top 5 RB in Grant, they have a great duo at WR with Jennings and Driver, they have 2 CBs in Woodson and Harris, they have a great LB corp with Hawk,Barnett, and Matthews, and they have 2 great safeties with Bigby and Collins.

Grant is a top 5 rb in what the nfc? Harris is out for the year and they do lead the league in sacks allowed....have they beat the Vikings this year...and they are 2-3 against against playoff teams assuming the Ravens get in

I'll you give you my list of the top 5 RBs in the league (in no particular order)

Grant
Peterson
Jackson
Gore
Jones-Drew

My bad about Harris

Thanks for proving me even more right on how good Rodgers is, there's a good chance he'll have a 30 TD season with a ****ty O-line.

That might be true, but they're going to be fighting for the SB in these games, they're going to have more heart.

wow...no way is Grant better than any of those guys....he fumbles way to much and was invisible the first half of the season....hes just had a few good games recently against horrible opponents....not to mentio I left out guys who have been dinged up this year like Jacobs, Barber, and Tomlinson

The best running backs in the league are Chris Johson, Micheal Turner, Brandon Jacobs, Frank Gore, and Maurice Jones Drew. Sorry to all Adrian Peterson lovers, but he has fumbled the ball seven times this year , and that is a lot for runningbacks.

Yeah I cant put jacobs that high....i still love Ray Rice more than Jacobs and Grant and AP is my number 1 guy because he can change a whole game so quickly and forces the defense to alter everything to focus on him

Brandon Jacobs is still a really good power back, but the Giants running game isn't the same without Derrik Ward, and with Ahmad Bradshaw getting injured a lot this year, the running game wasn't stellar. The Giants need to develop Danny Ware or whatever the third running backs name is so they can have Earth, Fire, and Wind again.

What are you talking about? He's fumbled once?? You know why he was average the first half of the season CO? He has a horrible O-line, and the Packers were more focused on the pass than run. Also they were behind in a lot of those games, so they had to catch up. Jacobs and Barber have pretty good O-lines, so does LT and he's washed up.

Grant is a great ground threat, but he also only has around 200 yards through the air.

It's hard for me to justify putting a back in the top five if he can only beat you on the ground with the way the NFL is today.

If you want to put Grant top ten, I'll buy that, top five is a bit of a stretch for me.

Because why throw it to him when you have Jennings and Driver

He has one more receiving tochdown in college and pro ball then I do.  I don't think that's the reason.  The guy just isn't a receiving back, and he's never going to be.

As much as I hate to say this. Grant is not stellar at all. Hes an above-average back at best. I can easily name 10-15 backs better than him.

I will say this...he doesnt fumble.....but he only has 3 100 yd games this year and has 5 games of 51 yds or less.....Ray Rice has 4 100 yd games and only 3 games under 51 yds...he also has another 680 yds recieving

Grant has two more TD's then Rice, but Rice has over 500 more total yards then Grant has.

Also keep in mind though that Rice doesen't get many short yard carries because of Willis McGahee who has 9 TD's on the ground.  The Packers really don't have an established second back.  Aaron Rodgers is the team's second leading rusher by a wide margin.

Rushing wise I'd say their about equal, but in the receiving game, it's not even close between the two.  Rice has takes that by a landslide.

Lol. Grant emerged two years ago doing even worse than he is now. He was never ever ever a top 5 runningback won't even be a top 10 running back.
