Cincinnati has the third toughest defense against the run in the NFL, so I doubt San Diego is going to attack Cinciy with an aging LT, and scat back Darren Sproles.

In contrast Carolina has one of the worst defenses against the run, and is better against the pass then Cincy is.

I'd say that should answer your question right there. Start Rivers over Farve with a fair amount of confidence.

I've weighed the pros and cons and decided to start Rivers
