I really Like David Lee and O.J. Mayo. Paul Millsap should be starting over Carlos Boozer and has a lot more upside and he'll get the starting gig here soon and we know after last season that he can really play

Paul Milsap and David Lee is a coaches favorite player. Coaches love these guys because they will do anything to win a game. THese are the two guys that will dive loose balls, set a pick, shoot when they have to, great rebounders, and very unselfish.

But seriously, hes one of the most underrated players in the NBA. Great player. Too bad he plays for a sh*t team. He will get his first All Star appearance very soon.

I would say without question right now David Lee is the most underated player in the NBA.
Especially considering now how hard it is to get a good center, David Lee numbers should put him right up there with almost anybody.
The only two centers last year who I thought had hands down better numbers were Dwight Howard, and Tim Duncan. (if you consider Duncan a center)
By comparision Yao Ming gets way more attention, but David Lee was either just as good if not better then Yao in nearly every major statistical category last year, in both totals, and averages.

How about Shaq? He had more points and blocks than Lee.
The difference in the PPG was about 2, so I'm going to count that as basically equal.
Lee easily outrebounded Shaq though, and although Shaq had more blocks then Lee, I would say that without question David Lee is a way better defensive player then Shaq.
Also Lee is way more durable then Shaq at this point, which you also have to factor in.
And Bob where are you getting your numbers from, because I have Lee at about 2800 minutes, while Shaq only played about 2250.
