Braylon Edwards a Jet, Crabtree finally signs

First Edwards.

Perhaps no other man in the NFL today has done less with more then Braylon Edwards.

He easily has the talent to be one of the top two or three wide outs in the NFL, and yet has so far been nothing more then average Joe going back to last year.

Obviously Cleveland is going nowhere fast this year, and while it's one thing to be bad, it's another to be putting up with some guy's crap at the same time.

With Edwards the Jets feel they finally have a go to receiver, although that's provided of course that Edwards actually starts giving a damn about his on-field performance.  If he gets going though, the Jets could wind up being the best team in the NFL.

As for Crabtree, I guess he figured he could only hold out for so long, but don't expect him to be a big factor this year in San Fran, or even a factor at all, as I wouldn't expect to even see him on the field until November if ever this year.

Coincidence that Edwards gets traded 1 day after the LeBron incident?

I think its not all Edward's fault. 2 seasons ago, Anderson was producing. Ever since then Quinn and Anderson have been crap. But I do put some of the blame on Edwards.

Maybe Bruce will help out Crabtree, just like Carter helped out Moss

That's really the only excuse Edwards has left.

If he doesen't start producing in New York, where Sanchez has been decent, then he has no excuses left.

Edwards can't catch a ball to save his life any more. Its sad cause the kids got a lot of talent and can make some great plays. Maybe a new place will be good for him.

As fir Crabtree he'll play this year. I think they'll use him more thna people think. Hes a guy who can catch the deep ball and out run defenders. He'll most likely make his debut in two weeks in Houston

Edwards should be able to bounce back and end up going to the old Edwards of two years ago. I personally believe that Braylon was tired of working with the Browns, knowing that he would be losing every game week after week, can get one's mind into the mindframe of why should I try in this game. Braylon is a very good talent and should show it in New York. It has to feel good also to be worth four players also.

Edwards is good but that doesn't mean just that easy with a trade he'll be back to the same Edwards from a few years ago

It won't take long for him to learn the playbook because Wr's run about 9-10 routes and they do repeat them after awhile.
