Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs!!!

So we have Three teams alread in: The Cards, Dodgers and Yankees. Odds are the Phillies and most likely the Rockies will be the last two in the NL and The Red Sox, Angels and Uh Tigers or Twins (Pick'em) in the AL.  So Whos going to have the best chance of making it to the WS? I think the Cards have the Best pitching in the NL and one of the best offense's so i think they'll make it for the NL and the Al is kinda a toss up. You can take out who ever wins the Central. The Yankees just hit a bunch of HR's and after CC the Pitching hasn't been the best as of late. So i'm not going to be the Homer here and take the Red Sox. i think the Angles will will come out of the AL to play the Cards.

Homer pick? How come when you talked about the Yankees you didn't discuss how they just swept the Red Sox and have won 9 of 10 aganist them recently.

Yeah just a bunch of homers and no pitching after CC, that TOTALLY doesn't equal the 100 wins and AL East Championship they just pulled off.

The Empire hasn't returned yet, you need that trophy at the end of the season for it to be back.

I can't see anyone taking down the Yankees.

Sabathia, Burnett, and Pettitte make a pretty good front three for a rotation, and the bullpen is pretty good as well.

But that lineup.  Man.

The four guys the Yankees have this year is simply the greatest hitting infield I have ever seen, or heard of in the history of the game.  And it's not like the outfield is that bad either.

The Yankees just have too many guns to lose in my opinion.

I'm not saying they can't be beat (anyone can), but if the Yanks bring their A game, it's over.

The NL is a little more interesting.

I think you will see a rematch of last year's NLCS, but this year it will be a war.

I like the Dodgers to win the NL, but I'll put bigger odds on the series going the full seven if indeed the two teams meet again rather then actually bet on a team.

Pmoe I wish man that were true about the Yankees as a fan, but they have problems Burnett has been up and down this year and C.C has been very bad in the playoffs pitching.

It wouldn't be playoff time without Yankee fans being concerned. They are having fun playing baseball & have a ton of morale this year and it shows game after game. Let's just hope it carries into October baseball.

(Enter homer pick here)

This will be Porcellos biggest game to date. Hopefully he handles it well.

I think the Twins offense is hitting real well right now with Cuddyer and Young both Homering twice on Sunday. If they can get a good game out of their starter i think they can win
