I agree with you on this one no one is giving the Packers a chance to win the NFC North and odds are they will because the defense will be better adnd the quarterback paly from Aaron will be much better. Running game will be good.

On paper the best team in that division is the Bears.

That defense is still good, and Jay Cutler finally gives them their first legitimate QB since Jim McMahon.

The only thing I can see holding Chicago back would be Jay Cutler.

He has as much talent as any QB I've ever seen but in my opinion he's Jeff George reincarnated.

The only reason he's in Chicago was because he wasn't professional enough to take it when he found out Denver was looking into the possibility of trading him.

And then to come out and criticize Denver's fans?  Why, what was there to accomplish with that?

Talented as he may be, he's an ass, plain and simple.

I know Chicago is right up there with Philly, Boston, and New York for how hard they are on their players, so we'll see how well he responds to criticism from the fans, and it will happen.

That will determine how far the Bears will go this year.  They could go to the Super Bowl, or they could finish 7-9.

First of all... Please do not compare Jay Cutler to Jeff George.. Just don't.

Second of all... He cleared up his comments saying that he was talking about the teams training camps and not the fans. And even if he was talking about the fans all he said was he ranks Bears fans ahead of Broncos fans. Which is kinda like, no sh*t. Of course he's gonna say that the Bears have better fans because 1. They do, and 2. He just got to a new team and wants to please his new fans.

About the Packers....

What I don't get is how you have a team that is essentially the same team it was last year when it finished 6-10 winning the division this year. They didn't get any worse. But they sure as hell didn't get any better. And Aaron Rodgers has experience now? So he now knows first hand how to completely blow in the 2nd half of the season after his team was in first place the first half of the season. Good for him.

Then you say the Bears will have the same record they had last season even though they upgraded the most important position on the field? Come on man. That's just plain dumb. Also Lovie Smith has taken over defensive play-calling and they brought in Rod Marinelli as their D-Line coach. Say what you will about Marinelli being a terrible head coach, but he is a great D-Line coach.

I have both the Bears and Vikings making the playoffs. One of them will win the division and the other will win one of the wild card spots. Meanwhile... the Lions will still be terrible.

All I can say is get used to defending this guy every time he makes a stupid statement.

That wasn't the first one, and it isn't going to be the last either.

And the Jeff George comparisons aren't going to stop either as long as he keeps opening up his mouth, while leading mediocre teams.  One of those two things have to change for those comparisons to stop, and I don't think he will ever shut his mouth, so he better win.

StevenMJ the Packers are going to get better because they are switching their defense up from last year and they are going to be better with the 3-4. Aaron Rodgers is going to get better because he now has more experience and will not make some dumb mistakes he made last year.

How does switching from the 4-3 to the 3-4 make them better? You don't know that just because they change schemes they'll be better. Actually it seems like it would hurt there defense because they don't have the linebacker strength neccesary to pull off a 3-4. And just because a guy has experience doesn't mean he has learned from his mistakes. Tarvaris Jackson has more experience than Aaron Rodgers yet he still makes all the same mistakes. I'm just I don't get how the Packers are gonna go from 6-10 to 11-5 while essentially changing nothing in the make up of the team.

The divsion is the Bears to win in my opinion. The packers coming off an abismal season still didn't do a lto over the off season to get a lot better. They got BJ Raji in the draft yes but he hasn't signed yet and therers a chance he dosn't before the seaosn starts. Jay Cutler will amke an instant impact on the bears. He'll make Devin Hester and better Wide out and MAtt Forte is ready for another great season. They added a fine rookie wide out in Juaqan Iglesias who can make an impact if he gets the playing time. Greg Olson will have a break out season at TE. Cutler likes to throw to TE's so he'll have a big season
