If this is true, then the Roy Halladay deal is all but dead, barring somebody like the Dodgers or the Yankees make a last second offer from him, but the Phillies were the only team who most considered to really be in the race from last week on.
I'd say with about 90% certainty that Roy Halladay isn't going to be leaving Toronto at least for now.
The Phillies don't want to give up the minor league pitchers for Roy Halladay even though he is a great pitcher. The Jays right down look like they aren't getting what they want for Roy and thus they are going to keep him.

They don't want to give up J.A. Happ for him. Hes proven to be a good pitcher for them this year so they don't wnst to lose a young arm like his cause they might not have halladay for more than the rest of this year and next
