I was at freinds house and he was looking up this video of crazy stuff and this popped up it's called CZW and its a promotion that has been going on for 10 years. The match I'm about to show you is crazy. This match is the Death Match5 for CZW.

CZW aka Combat Zone Wrestling has been around for a while now (I wanna say over a decade) and usually runs out of the Northeast area. It's where guys like Necro Butcher got his start.
You can actually hear CZW announcer Eric Gargiulo on The Wheelhouse this sunday.
Thats good to know this will probaly be the first wheel house I watch I want to ask this guy questions like whateh thought about Total Havoc the match between Thumbtack Jack and Danny Havoc. Seems that CZW likes to use glass all the time.

To me seeing a guy getting put through a glass table for the purpose of being put through a glass table isn't impressive.
Seeing those types of matches I think anyone with any actual wrestling ability would want to get the hell out of there as soon as possible if they were even dumb enough to get into the organization in the first place.
I don't think it's a coincidence that nobody from that organization has ever gone on to bigger and better things.
There's a certain skill involved with pro wrestling, but when you have matches like that on a regular basis, well now you've thrown all that skill out the window, and have just created a bar room brawl with a predetermined winner.
Obviously there's an audience for it, but it's trash plain and simple.
Shock and awe alone isn't enough to get you established above anything then a fringe promotion, and that's exactly what CZW is trying to do.
Alot of people compare them to ECW, but ECW for all it's crazy hardcore stuff actually had substance to it.
They could put on a top notch match without having to use weapons, and in many instances did.
Notice it's the guys who were capable of doing this; Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Jericho among others that have had the most successful careers.
I'm not saying all aspects of hardcore wrestling are bad, but you need something more then just hitting people with fluorescent light bulbs every other match if you want to appeal to the mainstream wrestling fan out there.
If anyone can find me a match where CZW doesn't try to shock and awe the crowd into thinking they are actually watching a good wrestling match, I'll reconsider my opinion, but until then I don't think of them any more as a garbage promotion desperate for attention.

This is absolutely garbage. It looks completely worked. The wrestlers are terrible and theres no point in putting your body on the line with these things. All these hardcore extreme wresting stuff is really garbage. I really wish companies will start taking wrestling the way its suppose to be. I mean to see hardcore matches every now and then is a nice adrenaline pumping match but I mean seriously? With CZW, every match is like this and its just sick. I miss the old wrestling days.
