NFL OT System = Fail

I think the NFL should get rid of their OT system and put in the college OT system. With a college system, both teams get the ball and the 2nd team has a chance. With the NFL system, the game is decided by that OT coin toss most of the time. Your thoughts?

I like the NFL's better. If you lose the coin toss, your defense should be able to stop the other team. It shouldn't be a battle of offenses like college's.

I hate college overtime it takes to long. It should be sudden death. Ive seen college gamres go seven overtimes that nuts. In the NFL score first game over it should be like that.

My suggestion for the NFL would be to just play out the whole quarter, or have a shortened quarter like they do in the NBA.

It's not perfect but no system is.

I like the college system better then the sudden death system, but like Bob said it's a little ridiculous when you have games going on for 7 OT's.

I'm sayin the NFL needs to spin it and go hockey style. One 10 minute OT period. Then if the game is still tied after that you go to my idea: Kicker Shoot-out!

I like the College system more than the NFL. Yes i know the guys in college arn't supposed to be playing for money and the guys in the NFL are so it means more but i think each team should get a shot at the ball. Now i don't think they should give it to them on X yard line and just make them go X distance to score. no. The team that gets the ball first needs to kick it off like they do in regular time and make it just as hard for the opposing team to go down and score. Don't have the same clock rules just keep the 15 Minutes and give each team a chance to score
