Well there goes the Rockets chances of even giving the Lakers a chance Yao out for the Third season in a row late with a Foot injury. He broke his left foot again in Game Three on friday night and will be out 8-12 weeks. The worst thing is that he misses part of next season with this also. The Rockets are really hurting after lopsing Dikembe Mutombo to a Carrer ending Knee injury in the first roudn against the Blazers and now are down to Luis Scola and Chuck Hayes to player Center. Sorry ron Artest but your season will so be over so thnrow as many elbows at Kobe as you'd like to

Oh theres a shock Yao Ming breaks his foot again, this guy is an interesting case, he plays deep into the season and for the last three years he has gotten a foot injury that ended his season. This is like Zydraus Ilgaukas in the begginning of his career he had countless foot injuries, but he hasn't had them for awhile. Yao Ming is a great player, but until he controls his foot problem he'll never be an all time great like Wilt Chamberlin, George Mikan, Bill Russel, Bob Petit and many others.

Virtually every player I've ever seen with that type of frame, and that tall has had leg problems.
Shawn Bradley, Manute Bol, George Muresan all had injury problems that kept them from achieving their full potential.
Yao has been by far and away the best player over 7'4" that I've ever seen, but you can't have that body type at that height, and not expect to have injury problems.
I'm actually surprised he's still this good considering all the injuries he's had.
Yeah. I mean evenif he dosn't get hurt so much who knows how god his carrer would be. He's a great player yes. I mean the injurys are just screwing him over.
