According cbssports.com former boxing pound for pound champ Roy Jones Jr. has agreed to fight UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva in a MMA match. However this fight will NEVER take place as long as Anderson Silva is under contract with the UFC. Dana White stated that this freak show of a fight is something that K-1 or the DREAM organization would put on not the UFC. Personally I would rather them fight in a boxing match than a MMA fight. Silva would submit Jones Jr. in under a minute. In a boxing match Jones Jr even though passed his prime could at least be competitive with Silva. Silva has openly talked about pursing a boxing career. This fight is at least 2 years away and Jones Jr would be 42 years old so I dont think that this would take place ever!
