Does anybody here think that if Avery wasn't on the team Holt wouldn't have been let go? I think the reason they got rid of him was that they wanted to get younger, and avery showed he could fill the void at WR. I can't come up with anything else. I don't think Holt is a money grubber like TO, and would be willing to renogiate his contract.
Thats not true. Before this year he had 8 straight years of 1,000 yards. Only 2 times in his career has he failed to have at least 6 TDs. He is still a great player Bob.
Yah but its his time to move over because Donnie Avery is the player of the future and teams will always take youth over someone in their thirties. Torry Holt is a good reciever but Donnie Avery is the impact player.Although he only had 53 receptions for 674 yards and three touchdowns the Rams like what he can bring to their offense.
