unless they draft a qb its probly their only move unless you want to start orlovsky or stanton, both bad choices

Does it really matter who the qb is in detroit at this point?

Nope, no matter who starts for them they are still by far the worst team in the division. All other three teams have a chance of winning the division next year, but the Lions are hopeless.

Yep, they need help on the defensive side of the ball very, very badly.

Yea they do. They really should use that number one pick for a QB, either drafting one or trading for like a Matt Cassell. Now do I think he's worth a number 1 pick? No, but that's how desperate the Lions are for a QB. If they draft Crabtree that would be one of the dumbest moves ever. They already have a star receiver, they just need someone to get him the ball. Then use the rest of there picks on O-Line and defense.

Maybe even trade down to 3 or 4 and get some help a lb or d line.

Yea, I wouldn't be surprised if they trade there pick to the Browns for Derrek Anderson and the 5th overall pick and draft Rey Maualuga.

NOOOOOOO lions will not start Culpepper. Lions will Draft Stafford the first pick. then start him. Culpepper sucks more then Baja.

Culpepper's entire career depended on a certain receiver in Minnesota who is now in Foxboro, Mass. I could see them drafting Stafford. Either way, this team has more problems than baja has comebacks.

I could've told you that, except in Oakland Randy Moss has made the QB around him better than they already were, even Tom Brady got better. He threw 50 touchdowns and Randy caught 23 touchdowns last year.

So you are telling me if you give an average QB a future HOF wideout he will do better? I never knew that.(I'm being sarcastic)

I say the Lions draft Eugene Monroe number one and trade the number 20 pick to Cleveland for Anderson

Im dead serious....look how the dolphins turned their team around by getting a proven QB and helping to solidify their line by getting Jake Long.

New coaching regime in Detroit means a quarterback will likely be taken at this spot, barring what the Lions do in free agency. They have someone they took last year named Gosder Cherilus, and who says they can't take a tackle at pick #20?

Tony Sporano was a first year head coach...took jake long number one and got Chad henne in the 2nd round. You take Monroe at number 1, slide backus to LG and keep Cherilus at RT thats a solid line. Then you play Culpepper this year and goafter Sam Bradford next year or Colt McCoy
