When I'm being sarcastic about 8-8, I won't defend it. The Raiders have a longggggggggg way to go before they win more then 5 games.

in the last 3-6 games they scored around 150 pts when Tom Cable was the coach. and i think the Raiders will be 7-9 becuase of the not so great Offense

Remember Super Bowl XXXVII Raiders vs. Bucs in 2003. The Raiders made the Super Bowl...under Al Davis. Did they win...no. But saying the Raiders will never win under Al Davis is stupid, if you were talking about the Lions it might be a different story...

I totally agree but Al Davis doesnt have to go for the Raiders to contend. Keeping Cable in place could mean the same system will stay as well and like I said earlier they were playing decent football down the stretch. I think its possible that Davis was humbled by the whole Kiffin ordeal that maybe he is going to the let the guys he hired to do the job actually do the job. Coming from a city with owners like Leonard Toste who almost sold the team to a group that would relocate to Arizona to pay a gambling debt or Norman Braman who wouldnt even offer Reggie White a new contract because he was more interested in lining his own pockets. The Raiders could do alot worse, at least Davis still has the passion and wants to contend a win a world title. I know he hasnt made the right football decesions but his heart is in the right place.

Al Davis is the NFL's version of the pre-Joe Torre George Steinbrenner; way to involved with his franchise, never gives his coach a chance to develop and the franchise has to suffer.

I doubt Al Davis until he can no longer physically do it, will step down as Raiders GM.

Personally as a niners fan, i love that the raiders suck. As a jeff peck fan, i think hes a hippopotamus not a hippocrite. Hippos are cool.

the titans major strength last year was having a good front 7. if the titans were smart, they would re sign haynesworth in a heartbeat

I think that Albert Haynesworth will sign a big contract at the end of the season. Here's some facts baja the last three years he has had 16.5 sacks and last year he had his most ever with 8.5 sacks.

As for Haynesworth there is no question that he is one of the best in the game today. He will go to a team that has cap room for this big deal he is going to want. They also are going to obviously need him. The Bucs,Broncos,Bengals,Packers,Chiefs,and the Titans. These are all possibilities. IMO he's going to the Broncos or Bengals.
