Cavs vs. lakers. Lebron had one of the worst shooting nights of his career last night in chicago and yet they managed to take the game into overtime. James' supporting cast has never been this good and they're 19-0 at home! If they get homecourt advantage it's over. They'll be playing the lakers because right now no team in the west can beat the lakers 4 times in a series.

The Spurs have the best chance to beat the Lakers in the west, and the Spurs could beat the Cavaliers.

well I dont think they will i think they just need to be able to beat the Celtics and Cavs when they play them. The East after that is pretty bad

well every year Magic lose to the pistons in the playoffs. so i dont think they will make it taht far in the playoffs. And the pistons will probably wont make it pass the Confrence Finals like they do for the last 3 or 4 years.

Yes orlando is legit but i just think when it comes to postseason basketball boston and clevland will just manage to find ways to win games. Clevland is flat out dominate at home and just because boston had a slump doesn't mean you can just throw them away. Yes orlando did well against the west but first they would have to get through the east.

Cleveland will end up crossing paths with the Magic and I would have to take the Cavs in the way that theyare playing with Lebron and his good supporting cast.

OK. These next two weeks will tell something big about the MAgic. They get Boston at home Thursday and then the next thursday the 29th they go to the Cavs. The Cavs might not have big Z back yet and no West for up to six weeks so they could falter and not to rub it in the Magic have a half game lead in the east now

Thats not going to prove anything, if the Magic win then they do it wit a depleted Cavaliers lineup.

And you have to remember that orlando would have to beat a healthy clevland team 4 times. Hard to see that happening.

It's a very good possibility but now that lebron has a better supporting cast it will be more difficult.

The Spurs swept the Cavailers in four games. Remember the Spurs win every other year and this would be every other year.

The SPurs are looking good right now and they will get even better when playoff time comes around. The Spurs have Roger Mason and Matt Boner they will be the young guys to step in and be the Spark for the Spurs.

Ha playing against all of those quality teams in the west it's hard to see roger mason and matt boner making that big of a difference. It's going to rely on duncan... period. Parker and Ginobli might play well but if nothing happens down low it won't matter what those two do.

The Spurs arn't going to make it to the finals this season. Duncan isn't playing as good as he could and Ginobli is playing terrible and he plays like all europeans which is the flopping game and the refs are starting to go away from calling it so much. Mason and Bonner are ok supports players but its just not as strong as the Lakers, Cavs, MAgic and Caltics... Celtics is very weak though.

Speak for the Magic. The Spurs are doingfine. The Spurs step it up a notch for the playoffs. They go into fifth or sixth gear while other teams are at three or four.

I guess i will come in and shine the lone ray of light. The Bucks will make the playoffs as the 8th seed and the Spurs will make it cause they are the two seed as of now and i think the only team who could beat them in that divison is the Hornets

I mean come on they have to contend with New Jersey for the 8th seed. New Jersey yes has two great guys and a great up and coming guy in Lopez but other than that can't do notta. The Bucks make it with Redds offense, Jeffersons Defense, and Luke Ridinour playing good at the point

and whos there to block out down low? Bogut? Oden went for 24 and 15 last night... oden hasn't really shined yet in the league. Leave it for the bucks to let him. Besides bogut milwaukee is awful down in the trenches. You can't expect Charlie V to dominate the glass when he plays like an outside big man. Luc Richard Mbah Moute is a role player who can grab 6-10 boards a night but that won't be enough. And don't forget about philly contending for that 8 seed too.

I see Philly getting the fifth seed the way they are playing now. They are playing great and Brand will eb back soon and the Piston's are playing terrible

Go Utah Jazz!!! The Utah Jazz need to get rid of Carlos Boozer because Paul Milsap is always getting a double double. The Utah Jazz will win the NBA Championship. Even though they have a lot of injuries. The Houston Rockets are over rated.

If the Jazz win it this year i will change my name to Deron Williams is the Best NBA PG. No way they win. Not enough ndepth and they need to get Boozer back to any depth at all. If he can come back and be dominant they will be in the playoffs. The Rockets are better than the Jazz

My problem is that refs in basketball are so inconsistant with their play calling, and another problem I have is that they call fouls if the star players get hit barely, what the helk is up with that Kobe and Lebron get touched and the refs call a foul.

There terrible. I mean i dont think that Kobe and Lebron should get what ever they want called. I mean they get a finger a half an inch from them they call it. They need to learn to call the games evenly for everyone. Not just the superstars.

Ha this happens all the time Dale, I'll always remember seeing the highlingt of the 1998 NBA Championship game 6 Chicage Bulls vs Utah Jazz. Micheal Jordan pushes off on Bryant( forgot his last name) and he hits the game winning shot, well that was the biggest foul in the world normal people would call that in a game, but since its Micheal Jordan he gets special treatement. Half of these players get to the line becasue of ticky tacky fouls.

Orlando did not lose that game against boston last night because of the calls. Boston absolutely smothered them with their defense and orlando couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Nothing was going in for orlando becuase of boston's shut down d.
