Well if i were the Lions Gm for one i would Hire Mike Shanahan as the coach. Second of all in the Draft i would take Matthew Stafford out of Georgia who will prolly come out after his best season just because i think he has the strongest arm and is a great playmaker and smart in the pocket

If I was the Lions Gm and God knows I don't want to be it, but if I was the GM I would draft Sam Bradford. This guy has a strong arm and smart player he is very accurate.

Bradford wont go i dont think and Tebow already said he wasn't going to go even if they win the national championship cause he knows he can come back next year and win another one

Yea Stafford will go for sure pretty much now cause Knowshawn Moreno is most likely coming out also. Were not sure about Bradford cause he hasn't said anything and McCoy and Tebow already said they were staying

Knoshown Moreno what a bust. He was all hype this year in how he was supposed to be the Heisman Trophy winner, but as we all know that didn't happen. He had a great year don't get me wrong but he was way over hyped

Harrell will go later. There is a QB from Ball State that is like but better than Tim Tebow, a lot of NFL Scouts say he will be a first rounder in not this draft but another draft down the road.

If I were the Lions GM I would hire a defensive minded head coach Steve Spagnolo would be ideal...The I would draft OT Andre Smith and protect either Orlovsky Kitna or Culpepper....You figure that they wont be that good anyway next year then the following year draft Mark Sanchez from USC

Well Sanchez plays for the best tem in the country even though there not in the National Championship. If Bradford or McCoy were in that offense i think they would be doing just as well. They are all great QB's

how can you call a heisman trophy winner overrated?? right now detroits best bet is with bradford. he knows how to win games which is what detroit needs more than anything. you can compare stats and styles all you want but i guarantee you tebow will not win in the nfl and i would much rather have bradford than sanchez
A lot of heisman winning quarterbacks are overrated. Leinart, White, Weinke, Ware, Torreta, Crouch....you almost can throw Tebow in that mix but I am a Tebow supporter (which is weird cause Im a FSU fan) but he is just a winner!
I think Tebow can help a team win in the NFL but he wont be playing QB. He should be moved to TE or full back maybe even a running back ebcause he is a hard tough physical runner. I still say the Lions will draft Stafford unless Bradford comes out then i think they take Bradford.

tebow does show toughness in college but once he moves up to the pros, there's a difference between a college linebacker smacking you in the mouth or ray lewis doing it. some of his toughness will go out the window when he joins the nfl.
I was listening to Craig Scheeman and James Washington today on the radio and their were a lot of people from Flordia calling in that Tim Tebow could end up being like the next Steve Young, and I thought how since Steve Young was quicker and faster than him, and Steve had a way better arm than Tebow did.

Tebow has a great Arm. Hes Mobile just not as fast as Young was. Young might have been more accuarte but the thing Tebow brings is a hard nose player with a great arm and will take a few hits and not go down.

He really doesen't have a great arm in my opionion. He is an average arm and he is accurate. But Steve Young could run and in the NFL Tim won't be able to run over Defensive lineman just isn't going to happen.
